Taxes explained in Beer Joke

I found this here and will post it here:

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100...

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this...

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7..
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do..

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve ball. "Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20". Drinks for the ten men would now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men ? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share?

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage the poorer he was, to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using, and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.

And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% saving).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% saving).
The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28% saving).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% saving).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% saving).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% saving).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings.

"I only got a dollar out of the $20 saving," declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,"but he got $10!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar too. It's unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!"

"That's true!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 back, when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison, "we didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!"

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and government ministers, is how our tax system works. The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat
friendlier.

Did Karrueche Tran and Rihanna almost get into a fight?

It's true that Rihanna, Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran were at the same club last night in West Hollywood called Greystone Manor and while it fueled rumors that Brown and Rihanna are back together, a Chris Brown Rep denied the claim. The fact that Browns current GF was also there did nothing, as rumors continue to swirl about Rihanna and Chris. I find it funny that the side that is doing all the denying is a Chris Brown Rep. and nothing from Rihannas' side. If Chris is cheating with Tran with Rihanna, it's not like he will admit it. But I digress.

Here's what we know. For weeks, pop superstar RIHANNA has been telling people close to her that she is UPSET with Chris' new GF Karrauche - for making a DISPARAGING YouTube video, where Kae MADE FUN of Rihanna's accent.

And Kae, we're told, is also upset with Rihanna - for her BLATANT SHOTS at Chris Brown in her newest video. She also believes that Rihanna WOULD LIKE to get back with Chris Brown.
Well last night, the two ladies GOT IN EACH OTHERS FACES at an LA club. Tells an insider, "[Chris and Kae] were on one side of the VIP and Rihanna was on the other. At one point Rihanna walked over, and Kae stepped to her."

But before anything could truly POP OFF, Rihanna's bodyguards came to her rescue, and moved Kae and her girls AWAY from RIH!!!

And that was GOOD for Kae. Cause according to our snitch, Rihanna was prepared to WHOOP KARRAUCHE'S AZZ!!

But a Rep for the club tells Gossip Cop the story is "false". I did check Rihannas' twitter and there is nothing referencing this. But despite the denial from the Clubs Rep. I could see a confrontation happening.

I also don't see a Rep. really admitting "yeah, it happened". But I do find it strange that if something like that did happen it would be all over the web today.

Why am I thinking that BlindGossip is talking about Rihanna?

Let's go through the clues. The title of this particula Blind is "Disloyalty Is A Slap In The Face" is the first clue-back in 2009 Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna.

Let's go to the next clue:

BlindGossip] There are lots of rumors flying as to why this famous performer is switching professional teams. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not because she is jealous that another performer that the company reps is getting more attention than her. It’s because she and her e-boss got into a huge fight about her personal life.

Recently MediaTakeOut.com reported that Rihanna was considering leaving Jay-Z and RocNation over Beyonce.

Second clue:

You see, her former company did more than make her a professional success. When the performer ran into some serious trouble with an old beau, the company did everything possible to protect her and get her personal and professional life back on track. They exhibited tremendous loyalty to her to the point of alienating others in the industry.

I'm thinking Rihanna because of the 2009 assault-I'm not sure how much her Label did for her afterwards however. So they might be referring to someone else.

However the Third Clue brings me back to thinking it's Rihanna:

And what does she do to thank them? Make questionable videos and try to get back together with the beau who almost ruined her career.

Rihanna made the "S&;M" video and the "Man Down" video which both created some sort of controversy. Rihanna was also sued over the S&M video. As for getting back with her former beau-it was reported that Chris Brown and Rihanna were talking on twitter and there was also the rumor that Chris Brown and Rihanna secretly met-to this day I have not seen a denial about the secret meeting.

I also skipped over this in the first clue:

In the same MTO report, MTO reports "After our initial report, Jay Z had a "private discussion" with Rihanna - after which, Rihanna promised to STAY with his management team"

But also in the BlindGossip is this "So they let her go. You can’t manage someone who is so determined to undermine her own success" Everything points to Rihanna except that part. Unless RocNation/Jay-Z decide to drop her before she drops them. Alot of the guess on the blind over at BlindGossip.com are Rihanna. Someone guessed Ciara but none of the clues seem to match.

While all the clues point to Rihanna-I'm not 100% confident. However If Rihanna gets dropped from her label or drops her label it would be reported everywhere. We'll see what happens.

One other tidbit-MediaTakeOut.com reported yesterday that Jay-Z/RocNation was dropping J-Cole for personal reasons-none of them are Business reasons and if you change certain details in this blind item-he would fit perfectly.

Rumor Fix.com : Ashanti’s Flirty Night With Jay-Z?

Watch out, Beyonce! Ashanti is moving in on your man, or at least that’s what the folks over at MediaTakeOut are claiming this morning.

Ashanti was on hand for the grand reopening of Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in New York on Wednesday night, and after the two posed for a picture together, MTO took a bit of creative license to get the rumor mill spinning.

“R&B singer Ashanti was ‘flirting’ with new dad Jay-Z, Beyonce’s husband. An insider explains, ‘It was embarrassing, [Jay-z] was there mingling with people and Ashanti was standing right there like they were together.’ The insider continues, ‘[Jay ] was loving it though, he was all smiles … I don’t think I ever saw him smile that much and that hard.’”
Ha! We suppose MTO wants us to believe that just days after welcoming a daughter into the world with one of the biggest female artists in music, Jay-Z was out getting flirty in public with Ashanti. Doesn’t make much sense to us either, nor does it to our Ashanti insider who tells us, “There is absolutely no truth to this rumor whatsoever.”

It could be true, or it could be false.We weren't there so. You decide on who's telling the truth.

Regulatingcopyright in the media sphere is hardly nothing new; master'sdegree students study the topic heavily and debate about finding abalance between creativity and equality in their courses. Advocates of the Stop Online Privacy Act(SOPA) claim it will target intellectual piracy sites and stem the tide ofcounterfeit goods. Designed to allow for private organizations to nominate URLsand websites which allegedly infringe upon copyright laws, the act aims toaccomplish many admirable goals indeed. However, it is difficult to see howthis Act (in its current iteration) can actually accomplish what it intendswithout stifling free expression and giving control of the Internet over tospecial interest groups with deep pockets. It essentially shifts the regulation of the internet to third-partycorporations while the government's only role is to enforce the regulation.

What It Does Not Do

Unfortunately, the SOPA does not directly impact the site owners or the IPaddresses, so it will not stop piracy. Most piracy sites are overseas andoutside of US jurisdiction. Anyone in the US who wishes to continue to access apiracy site will be able to do so using the IP address of the pirate's site.What this means is that savvy torrenters will quickly catch on to the new rulesof the game, nullifying much of the effects of the act. Piracy sites will findways to get their IP addresses to their customers without the Internet or theywill launch new domains. Either way, the bill will always be playing acat-and-mouse game with media pirates.

Some proponents point to the $135 billion dollars in lost revenue due to piracyand counterfeit activities. They believe this act will reclaim this income andrestore lost jobs and tax revenue. Unfortunately, the people most likely topurchase pirated or counterfeited goods are often least likely to ever becomelegitimate customers. No matter how much revenue is potentially lost this way,it is not clear that this bill could do anything to recover it.

Shifting Responsibility

Under current law, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act does not hold thirdparty websites responsible for unwittingly hosting material that breakscopyright law or promotes piracy. A content site like YouTube or Twitter can beasked to remove such material when it is found, but these sites are notpunishable for allowing the content to have appeared in the first place.

Under the proposed SOPA, websiteswould be forced to preview all content submitted by third parties to be certainit will not land them afoul of the law. Social media sites like Facebook wouldhave to approve status updates and links before allowing them to post. Giventhe loose definition of what copyright infringement can be interpreted as,someone might decide your wedding video violates copyright because they canhear the music you are dancing to.

Stifling Small Business and Internet Start ups

Knowing the high stakes of piracy will lead most companies to censor heavily toavoid costly litigation. Added layers of approval will add to the costs.Internet firms will pass these costs on to their customers and the price ofdoing business online will rise.

New websites could be hounded out of business by competitors with abundantfinancial and legal resources. Rather than reclaiming lost jobs and revenue,this act will likely make it much more expensive to launch a new Internetbusiness in 2012.

Unprecedented Power

We are already seeing the potential power the SOPA may impart to judges. A Nevada courtrecently ruled in favor of Chanel and ordered the termination of 600 domainsthat possibly promoted or sold counterfeit Chanel products.

It remains to be seen what authority Nevada had to rule on this case, but itdoes demonstrate how the copyright infringement can be punished if SOPA ispassed. Consider that your corner drugstore sells probably sells cheap cologneswith unique names that "smell like" brand names. Everyone knows theyare not buying Chanel No. 5 or Joy. Under SOPA, if that store sold this productonline, it might have its domain seized and shut down for promoting counterfeitor even similar goods.

Preserve Free Enterprise

The Internet has fostered communication and access to information for peopleall over the world. This openness has challenged creative media companies whichhave been struggled to adjust to the shift online. Unfortunately, this solutionthey offer would not solve piracy, but it would hamper free speech andconcentrate more power in the hands of the mighty.

CNN and MSNBC Gaffes

CNN is a news channel and somehow thought that the San Diego Chargers that missed the Playoffs were playing against the Detroit Lions, however Detroit got eliminated by the Saints on Jan. 7th. There is no excuse for it, it's stupidity and should have been fact checked before it appeared on the air. It took me 30 seconds to do a simple fact check. CNN didn't have 30 seconds?

CNN was not the only one to make a gaffe this week, take a look at this:

123%? um yeah. Chris Christie took MSNBC to task over it calling it 'Democratic Math'.

Is Chris Brown cheating on his Girlfriend with Rihanna?

Rihanna and Chris Brown have been “secretly hooking up” for almost a year, claims Us Weekly.
The “jaw-dropping revelation” has supposedly been confirmed to the magazine by “several sources,” and the trysts are said to be “common knowledge” in the two performers’ inner circles.

Brown is dating Karrueche Tran, so he and Rihanna allegedly “rendezvous at out-of-the-way places,” according to the magazine.

In fact, most of the story revolves around how Rihanna and Brown are keeping their hookups “clandestine” because it adds even more excitement to the relationship.

“It’s a recipe for disaster. Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that,” explains a so-called “insider” for Us.

Meanwhile, a Brown “pal” tells the magazine, “Having these flings without the world knowing has made the hookups even hotter.”

OK, so the Us story is basically claiming that Rihanna and Chris Brown are totally together – except exclusively behind closed doors, and no one will ever be able to confirm it.

The weekly covers itself even further by mentioning near the end of the article that “most of their friends doubt the two would ever go public again” and that the alleged relationship “isn’t serious.”

Stories about Rihanna and Brown getting back together have been floating around ever since their 2009 breakup.

The fact that the former couple has been on good terms for a while is going to fuel even more speculation that they’ve rekindled romantically.

But it’s simply not the case.

The idea of a reunion has always trumped actual facts in these stories, and there’s no evidence that the two performers have reunited behind Brown’s girlfriend’s back – and the public’s.

A rep for Brown tells Gossip Cop the singer and Rihanna are “just friends,” and that he’s absolutely “not cheating” on Tran.

So let's follow: Chris Brown and Rihanna are "secretly hooking up" but it's "common knowledge" among their "inner circles", and for some reason Chris Browns GF hasn't found out about this at all. That's not secret and It must be all false right? Well there is some evidence that it could be true.

There is a Rihanna tweet:

“How can you lie to her, while u lay with me???…..If you don’t have an answer, you don’t have to answer,”

There are also these tweets that are not directed to anyone but one could imply it's to Chris:

So what nigga, I'm not tryna hear that shit!

U wanna be my main squeeze nigga, don't ya?

Cuz of u I'm on some real fuck a nigga shit!

A implication of cheating has been made, do you honestly believe Chris Brown or is Rep. would come out and say "yeah, Chris is cheating" I very much doubt it. The very unreliable MediaTakeOut.com also picked up the US Weekly story

Rihanna also took a trip to Hawaii right after Brown got a tattoo of his GF and those tweets showed up after also.

I've laid out both sides, now you decide: Is Brown and Rihanna hooking up or is it just another lie.

MY Opinion: I have doubts about this story being false. No one will straight out admit they are cheating or have cheated. It's entirely possible that the two are hooking up and is doing a wonderful job hiding it.

MTO wrong yet again: Khloe Kardashian is not pregnant

Last Month MediaTakeOut.com "reported" that Khloe Kardashian was pregnant by just looking at pictures of her that were recent. The site did not ask her or anyone around her about it. At the time I did not see any site knock down the rumor nor did I check to see what Khloe had to say about it.

So if it was last month why am I posting about it now? Well there is a false story on E! Online saying that she is "seeing a fertility doctor". Gossip Cop looked into this story and was told "She is not on any fertility treatments” which means she is not pregnant. If she was she would be talking to a doctor about something else. I think if she was it might be mentioned on the show.

It shows one other thing about MTO: if a woman puts on any weight-she is automatically pregnant to them. Just Forget if they just ate or put on a few pounds.

As for the whole Khloe Kardashian being a Kardashian or not story that was in the news two weeks ago or last week, frankly I don't care that much about it.

Crimes involving college students in the prime of their lives will always stun us. Here are the 10 most shocking college crimes ever perpetrated.

Virginia Tech shooting

The killing spree at Virginia Tech in 2007 shocked the country over the sheer number of casualties: 32 dead and 25 wounded. All the signs were there that Cho Seung-Hui was mentally unstable. The 23-year-old selective mute had written poems about pedophilia and high school kids who discuss murdering a teacher. On the day he snapped, he killed two people in a dorm, then two hours later he walked to four different classrooms, methodically killing as he went, causing the devastated community to wonder why the campus was not locked down before he committed the majority of the murders.
University of Alabama shooting

What amazed people most about the events at the University of Alabama on Feb. 12, 2010 was the identity of the shooter. Here was a wife and mother with a Ph.D. from Harvard and an established career in the field of biology. After she opened fire on her colleagues at a department meeting, killing three and wounding three others, a picture emerged of an odd, cold woman who had recently been denied tenure at the school and had killed her brother many years ago under suspicious circumstances.
Penn State sex scandal

It’s the only case on this list that doesn’t involve murder, and it’s still unfolding, yet it’s one of the most monstrous crimes to ever involve the collegiate world. The country has watched in horror as allegations have emerged that former football assistant coach Jerry Sandusky molested eight or more boys over a period of at least 15 years. What’s worse, the man had founded a charity for disadvantaged kids. Even revered football coach Joe Paterno has stunned the public by admitting he knew of Sandusky’s behavior as early as 2002.
UT Tower Sniper

A former Marine barricading himself into a tower and sniping 13 people would be a huge story in 2011; in 1966, such a thing was completely unheard of. “Normal” people like University of Texas student Charles Whitman didn’t kill their mothers and wives in their sleep, as he had done. Fortunately, the citizens of Austin at the time were not so shocked as to lose their heads. Well-armed civilians helped police return fire at Whitman and probably saved lives in doing so. Even still, Whitman’s case remains one of the most gruesome cases of an average-student-turned-mass-murderer.
Appalachian School of Law shooting

No one expected the tiny Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Va., could be the site of a triple homicide. Shortly after its 170 students returned to campus after winter break, Peter Odighizuwa, or “Peter O” to his classmates, also returned despite flunking out six months earlier. The Nigerian walked into the office of the dean, former U.S. Attorney General L. Anthony Sutin, and executed him at point-blank range. Then he did the same to professor Thomas Blackwell. He moved to the student lounge where he shot four students, one of whom died, before being tackled by students and police.
Cal State Fullerton Massacre

Exactly 10 years after the UT Tower shooting, another former Marine went on a killing spree at a college. Cal State Fullerton library custodian Edward Charles Allaway thought his ex-wife was being forced to appear in the porn films his coworkers were showing before work. His response was to take a .22-caliber rifle into the library and kill seven people in five minutes. A judge found Allaway not guilty due to insanity, and he remains locked away in a mental health institution to this day.
Baylor Scandal

Texans and sports fans across the country were shocked at this story that came out of the ultra-conservative halls of Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2003. Basketball player Charles Dotson, hallucinating and psychotic, imagined teammate and friend Patrick Dennehy was going to kill him. Instead, Dotson shot and killed Dennehy in an argument. Dennehy’s six-week disappearance touched off NCAA investigations that revealed head coach Dave Bliss had paid Dennehy and a second player $40,000 in tuition and lied to cover it up, and that the staff had failed to report players’ drug use. Bliss resigned, and Dotson got 35 years.
Montreal Massacre

This one went down just north of the U.S. border in Montreal, at the École Polytechnique, in 1989. Enraged that “feminists” had ruined his life, Marc Lépine walked into a classroom with a rifle and ordered the men out of the room. He shot the nine female students who remained, killing six. After that, he moved throughout the building, killing five more women and injuring 14 more men and women before turning the gun on himself. Had it happened in the States, at the time it would have been the worst school shooting ever.
The Campus Killer

Although the majority of his murders took place off-campus, serial killer Ted Bundy is often referred to as the Campus Killer. Beginning in 1974, the homicidal maniac started attacking college women at a rate of at least one each month. Four years and 17 murders later, on the run from police in Florida, he bludgeoned five sorority members at Florida State University, raping and murdering two. By the time he was finally captured, his death toll was a confessed 28, but an estimated 100 or more. A relieved public cheered when this once well-liked, handsome young man was executed.
Northern Illinois University shooting

Less than a year after the Virginia Tech shootings and less than a week after a double murder-suicide at Louisiana Tech, the headlines again were flooded with news of a massacre on a college campus. Former grad student Steven Kazmierczak entered an oceanography class dressed in black and armed with a shotgun, three handguns, eight magazines, and a knife and opened fire on the 120 students. Terrified students tried to flee, but 25 were hit and five killed. Before police arrived, Kazmierczak committed suicide.

According to the webloid, strangers “beat” Hilson “in the head” after seeing her on the street.
Their supposed weapon of choice?

“A BEYONCE CD!!!”

Wait, really?

MediaTakeOut bases its sensational claim on a tweet allegedly sent by Hilson on Thursday.
The tweet supposedly read, “It’s ONE thing to attack me on Twitter… but it’s disrespectful to have the bravery and audacity to throw Beyonce albums at me when I’m on the street.”

That sounds… suspicious.

Unfortunately for MediaFakeOut, the fact-challenged site has been duped once again.
“Fake tweet, fake story,” Hilson said Friday morning. “Photo-shop is a helluva drug.”

Keri also blasted MTO over the story:

The staff at MTO must be mind readers or something because they can look at pictures and say "those two are dating" or "she's Pregnant" without talking to anyone. Just because a woman gained weight does not automatically mean they are pregnant.

MediaTakeOut.com got a photo of Sanaa Lathan and decided since there is a small bump, she must be pregnant,-they didn't ask her or anyone around her. They just assumed and as usual, they are wrong. So since MTO just assumed she's pregnant-who is the father? Well they implied Kobe Bryant because the two allegedly hooked up a few months back

Sanaa went to twitter and cleared up the rumor:

“No, I am not [pregnant]. Next time, I’ll eat dinner AFTER I do the red carpet. LOL Muah!”

MTO wrong again-so much for fact checking every story. I wonder when they see a fat woman they just assume she's pregnant also?

The very unreliable MediaTakeOut.com is "reporting" that Beyonce is "set" (Headline on MTO: Beyonce Set To Perform In 5 Weeks . . . At The GRAMMYS!!!) to perform at the show 6 weeks after giving Birth:

January 09, 2012: MediaTakeOut.com just received some interesting news, Beyonce is LIKELY to perform at THIS YEARS GRAMMY AWARDS.

According to a person affiliated with the GRAMMYS, people close to Beyonce ASKED the award show programmers if they would "make room for Beyonce if she were available to perform."

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "I thought it was a pregnant Beyonce [they were talking about], not a new mom Beyonce." But according to our insider, Bey's people were SERIOUS about it. The insider added,
"Of course we'd make room [for Beyonce], she's the biggest star in the world."

Initial reports had Beyonce's actual due dude date in February. While Beyonce's actual due date was never revealed, Beyonce underwent an ELECTIVE cesarean section on Saturday. Beyonce and her new daughter are currently RECOVERING in the hospital.

Beyonce shot down the rumor that she had a C-section and she says that she gave Birth Naturally so it might be possible for her to perform at the show. The Grammy website has nothing on this. I would think if this was true that everybody would be jumping on this news but MTO is the only major site reporting this.

I'm not inclined to believe MTO on this one-I think they are wrong yet again. But I could be wrong and MTO actually got something right. However I'm going to have a wait and see approach.

"24" Movie in the Works

Fox had their TCA meeting and among the items discussed was the "24" Movie. TVbytheNumbers.com is reporting not only will there be a "24" movie but it will start filming in April or May. No word on how exactly the film version would work since the series was 24 episodes broken down with each episode representing one hour.

The series ended in 2010.

Did Fox News quietly abandon it's "Zero tolerance policy"?

In my first Original column for 2012 I look into Fox News 2009 "Zero tolerance policy" after it's most recent on air mistakes in terms of Graphics. Before FNC ~~apologists~~ fans come claiming that everyone does it, I say to that: your justifying ~~bad behavior~~ stupidity with other ~~bad behavior~~ stupidity (A anonymous commenter did have a valid point on my wording selection) and Fox News is the only one that has a "zero tolerance policy" regarding on air mistakes. The point is that Fox News is not living up to THEIR OWN POLICY. Which to me looks like they have abandoned.

This policy started in 2009 after Fox News showed old Palin footage while discussing her Bus tour at the time. Back then management "had enough" with all the mistakes being committed and decided to issues a zero tolerance policy and issued this memo:

We had a mistake on Newsroom today when a wrong book cover went on screen during a guest segment, the kind of thing that can fall through the cracks on any day with any story given the large amount of elements and editorial we run through our broadcasts. Unfortunately, it is the latest in a series of mistakes on FNC in recent months. We have to all improve our performance in terms of ensuring error-free broadcasts. To that end, there was a meeting this afternoon between senior managers and the folks who run the daytime shows in which expectations were reviewed, and the following results were announced:? Effective immediately, there is zero tolerance for on-screen errors. Mistakes by any member of the show team that end up on air may result in immediate disciplinary action against those who played significant roles in the “mistake chain,” and those who supervise them. That may include warning letters to personnel files, suspensions, and other possible actions up to and including termination, and this will all obviously play a role in performance reviews. So we now face a great opportunity to review and improve on our workflow and quality control efforts. To make the most of that opportunity, effective immediately, Newsroom is going to “zero base” our newscast production. That means we will start by going to air with only the most essential, basic, and manageable elements. To share a key quote from today’s meeting: “It is more important to get it right, than it is to get it on.” We may then build up again slowly as deadlines and workloads allow so that we can be sure we can quality check everything before it makes air, and we never having to explain, retract, qualify or apologize again. Please know that jobs are on the line here. I can not stress that enough. I will review again during our Monday editorial meeting, and in the days and weeks ahead. This experience should make us stronger editorially, and I encourage everyone to invest themselves one hundred and ten percent in this effort.

It lasted about 6 weeks. But a mistake was bound to happen/be missed. However ending 2011 and now in the year 2012 FNC is making mistake after mistake after mistake after mistake right after another. It seems FNC policy of "It is more important to get it right, than it is to get it on.”and "Newsroom is going to “zero base” our newscast production. That means we will start by going to air with only the most essential, basic, and manageable elements" went down the memory hole. Will FNC now start enforcing it's policy?

My question is if these graphics are prepared ahead of time, why would these mistakes appear on the air? If they were properly proof-read ahead of time it would be fixed and not appear. The only thing I can think of is that no one proof reads these graphics ahead of time or they are in such a rush that they don't care. Fox News confused Vermont and New Hampshire, not once but twice with the immediate one being today on a taped program!!! There is no excuse for that.

Fox News also doesn't confuse states but people:

Fox did correct that but it flew in the face of: "We may then build up again slowly as deadlines and workloads allow so that we can be sure we can quality check everything before it makes air, and we never having to explain, retract, qualify or apologize again"

I do understand time constraints but aren't graphics prepared ahead of time to air and when they are are not going to air, there is time to proof read and make sure everything is right? There is NO EXCUSE for all these mistakes to happen and it's time for Fox News to forcefully enforce it's policy. In the mean time they are enforcing their critics view of that when the policy was announced it was a "joke" and FNC would not follow through and it appears to me they haven't.

One more point: Fox News is the number one Cable News Network in America and as such-they will be scrutinized even more, every mistake highlighted. It comes with being Number one. Fox is also not shy to jump all over it's competitors when they make mistakes and they have this superior attitude of "we're better than everyone else and everyone else is a liar" attitude. I don't feel bad for FNC at all. If they can dish it out, they will have to take it also.

Fox viewers attitude of "others do it too" is a very poor "defense". To me it's justifying bad behavior with other bad behavior" reminds of "two wrongs make a right" which is false.

The other "defense" which is spin is that they appeared for a few seconds, that's not the point-it still appeared on air, no matter how much time elapsed. Viewers still saw it!!

Amber Rose vs Kim Kardashian

Earlier this week Amber Rose told Star Magazine the following about Kim Kardashian, Kayne West and herself:

"Kim is one of the main reasons why me and Kanye aren't together ... She's a homewrecker."
The two first hooked up while Kim was dating Reggie Bush and Amber was with Kanye, 34."They were BOTH cheating," Amber reveals. "They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other."

And Kim, Amber says, instigated the whole afair by calling, texting and sending racy photos of herself to Kanye. But even when Amber uncovered the emails and confronted Kim, 31, she just wouldn't give up trying to steal Amber's man.

"She was sending pictures, and I was like, 'Kim just stop. Don't be that person'", Amber says, "I thought at least she'd be woman enough to respond to me. She never responded."

Gossip Cop looked into the rumor and was told that it was "not true" and a insider says that Ambers' story is "Bullsh^t". Amber responded to repeat questions about everything and said:

I know there has been a lot of rumors circulating the Internet today. After being asked the same questions over and over in every interview for so long, I had to be honest and get this off my chest … I don’t lie, I don’t embellish. I’m not trying to hurt anyone just setting the record straight,” she tweeted.

“Fame is a crazy thing, but I’m so thankful I have an amazing husband that loves and supports me to the fullest. He’s my angel and soul mate.”

In this case we have a name to go with the accusations that were made: Amber. Someone here is lying, Amber is saying that Kim cheated on Reggie with Kayne and Kim said she didn't. In this case it's a she said/she said. Now don't expect Kayne or Reggie to come out and say Amber is right.(If you want to comment and trash both of them or just one of them-go ahead I WON'T delete your comment)

So who will you believe? well, If you hate Kim:then Kim is lying and if you hate Amber then she is lying and if you hate both of them equally then you probably don't care.

Another angle that I find curious is that Gossip Cop has this has a "Zero" on it's scale while Rumorfix.com is just reporting what Amber said. They really didn't fact check Ambers' accusations. RF it seems is believing Amber.

Since Amber is blasting Kim Kardashian MTO also picked up this story and also believes Amber.

That clown deserves to be taken behind the woodshed each and everynight by Bill O’Reilly and Fox News and he is!?!? If that buffoon had all his viewers to his house, they could all fit on his sofa!?! Remember those “Occupy” losers? That clown embraced that movement proclaiming it was “here to stay”. What?!? Where are those losers now? Exactly. To paraphrase Paul McCartney, sometimes this ever-changin’ world in which we’re livin’ makes you want to cry. Not the case anymore. Instead, college seems to have a new rep as a breeding ground for sexual activities historically viewed as "weird" or "illegal." And faculty members are getting in on the act just as much as students. But enough foreplay; here are the 10 worst college sex scandals ever:

The Penn State Scandal
Calling this story a "scandal" is like calling Hurricane Katrina "a rainy day." On November 4, 2011, a grand jury indicted former Penn State football assistant coach Jerry Sandusky on 40 counts of sex crimes against boys. This well-respected man who founded a charity for children to receive "positive human contact" was in reality a (possible) child molester alleged to have sexually abused eight boys over 15 years, maybe even one from his own family. Already the charity’s president, the school president, and a revered football coach have been shown the door, and more heads are likely to roll.
Duke Lacrosse Scandal
This one had all the makings of a classic scandal: rich white kids rape black stripper at house party. The story was headline news for days in March, 2006. Crystal Gail Mangum (pictured above), an African American student at UNC, accused three members of Duke’s lacrosse team of raping her at a house party. Overeager D.A. Mike Nifong saw a chance to make a name for himself, and had all three men indicted on rape charges. As we now know, Mangum had gotten busy with several dudes before the party, but fabricated the entire rape scenario. The players were cleared of all charges.
Bernie Fine
In a still-developing story, assistant coach Bernie Fine of Syracuse men’s basketball team has been accused by two former ball boys and a third man of sexually assaulting them when they were children. The scandal widened exponentially when it was revealed that for 10 years, police and ESPN sat on tapes of one of the victims discussing the assaults with Fine’s wife, in which she also admitted to watching Fine molest the victim and having sex herself with the victim. The biggest scandal of all: the statute of limitations may be up for convicting Fine.
Colorado Football
One has to be specific when discussing sex scandals and Colorado’s football program. It could refer to the six rape allegations against football players from 2001 to 2004, one by the team’s female kicker. Or it could refer to the program’s continuous use of strippers, sex (consensual and possibly otherwise), drugs, and booze to lure (underage) prospects to the school, for which head coach Gary Barnett was suspended. The players beat the rape raps, but still, it’s probably a good idea to pour your own drink at any CU football parties.
Mistress Jade
By day she was Lisa Chavez, English professor at the University of New Mexico. By night she was Mistress Jade, phone-sex dominatrix. The lines between the two positions blended as Chavez began to recommend her students also take jobs as phone-sex workers. When photos surfaced of Chavez and one of her students posing in sadomasochistic poses online, with Chavez offering to be a "biker b****, an imperious goddess or a stern teacher ready to punish unruly students," Chavez quit the sex job and retained her position at UNM, which decided she had not violated any school policy.
David Epstein
Is there anything more scandalous than incest? Columbia professor David Epstein was put on administrative leave after he was charged with a third-degree count of incest for sleeping with his 24-year-old daughter. The consensual relationship lasted three years. Oddly enough, his daughter has not been charged with a crime, prompting some to wonder why consensual incest isn’t considered a two-way street.
Rick Pitino
Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino had a one-night stand on a restaurant table in 2003 with Karen Sypher, a woman who would later become his equipment manager’s wife. When Sypher told Pitino she was pregnant, Pitino paid her $3,000 for "insurance," definitely not for the abortion she subsequently had. Eventually, Sypher tried to soak Pitino for $10 million or else she’d blow the story wide open. Instead, Pitino publicly confessed, and Sypher was charged with extortion. It wasn’t until then that she claimed Pitino had raped her, but officials weren’t buying it.
Methodist Hazing
Hazing usually involves copious amounts of alcohol consumption, but now and then in spills over into the sex scandal category. In 2002, five football players at Methodist College were disciplined by the school for holding a freshman player down, stripping him below the waist, spanking him and writing on his rear end with a Sharpie. Wide receiver Antonio Wilkerson literally took the Sharpie thing too far when he stuck it where the sun doesn’t shine.
J. Michael Bailey
To be fair, what human sexuality prof J. Michael Bailey of Northwestern did to get on this list was during an attendance-optional class where the students were forewarned about the graphic nature of what they would see. What they saw (and heard) was a naked woman on a stage brought to orgasm by a machine-powered saw with a phallus on the end. Understandably, scandal erupted. The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune covered it, and Northwestern’s president expressed regret for the incident.
Arthur Miller
It wasn’t Death of a Salesman, but death of a professor. Arthur Miller was a tenured science prof at the University of Iowa until he was rung up on four charges of bribery, specifically for offering women better grades for letting him see, fondle, or suck their breasts. The story took another scandalous turn when Miller went missing after being arrested, and police feared he had a rifle with him. In the end, both body and rifle were found in a park — Miller had committed suicide.

MediaTakeOut is alleging that the Smirnoff model had some kind of plastic surgery and they are saying it “f**ked up” her face.

Their evidence? A picture that merely shows Wiz Khalifa’s girlfriend is only guilty of getting carried away with her eye make-up.

We really didn’t need to talk to Amber’s rep to clear this one up, but we did anyway. The rep says, “She did not have plastic surgery.”

Greta says Fox Nation is unfair!! (not really but read article!!)

Before someone blows a gasket, Greta never said that BUT she did a post on Greta Wire Slamming those who took Andrea Mitchell's comment out of context. Greta wrote:

I have traveled often – as a competitor – with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell. I know her and I know her work. Don’t get me wrong, I want us to beat Andrea (and she wants to beat us) but I want our competition with her to be fair. To those who criticize her for her comment (see the article), you are carelessly taking her remark out of context or reading something into it. That is unfair to her.

Now before someone says that Fox Nation did not write the headline "NBC’s Andrea Mitchell: Iowa Is 'Too White, Too Evangelical, Too Rural'-they would be correct, it came from the Right wing realclearpolitics.com-HOWEVER FOX NATION still decided to run with it and kept the original headline-they could have re-written it (which they do) or told the truth but naw, a smear is better.

The fact is that Fox Nation ran with a out of Context comment. Isn't Fox Nation the same site that said "say "no" to bias media"? They prove to be biased everyday.

My Take is that she was referencing what CRITICS have to say about the Iowa Caucus and it was not her opinion on it.

Last year I had fun mocking MTO because they claimed Facebook likes and Twitter follows/tweets meant two people were dating and this year if you dare, dare to take a picture with the opposite sex-it means you are Boyfriend/Girlfriend. No need to ask the people you are writing about or see two people holding hands, kissing hugging or on a date or not, just look at a picture and poof-you two are dating. So where am I going with this? I'll tell ya:

Fat Joe took a photograph with actress Sanaa Lathan who MTO tried to link to Kobe, anyway the two took a picture together and that was enough for MTO to have a screaming headline "Actress Sanaa Lathan Has A New BOYFRIEND . . . And He's A RAPPER!!!"

They must have more evidence than a picture right? Right?:

January 02, 2012: Soooo . . . we could HARDLY believe it when we heard it, but this New Years rapper FAT JOE and actress Sanaa Lathan attended LeBron James' birthday party TOGETHER. And our spies did NOT see Fat Joe's wife Lorena there . . .

DANG Sanaa are you STEALING HUSBANDS AGAIN!!!

MTO got it wrong that Fat Joe and Sanaa are BF/GF and they are wrong that Fat Joes wife was not at the party because she was there. MTO is also wrong that Sanaa is stealing Husbands.

Sanaa addressed the rumor on twitter, tweeting "Isn’t so … We took a pic. His wife was right there. This is getting hilarious".

I said last year and I'll say it again-Fred needs to get a new staff because the ones that he has continue to embarrass him.

It's a new year but MTO decided to enter it with a small lie which is part of a pattern . Last Night Lebron James proposed to his long time Girlfriend Savannah Brinson in which he has two kids by her. Going by reports she said yes.

So what does this have to do with MTO? Well they decided to report the news this way: MTO WORLD EXCLUSIVE: LeBron James PROPOSED To His Babys Mama . . . At The Stroke Of Midnight!! (Pics Of THE RING . . . And Savannah CRYING) and at the bottom of the article is this:

The only problem is this story was not broken by MTO. Readers called MTO out over it:

Before we start the countdown however You might notice on the sidebar that the most popular post is Jay Severin suing WTKK 96.9 but I have particular settings in place for it so it's misleading at best. It's the most popular for the month and not the actual year. With that being said, let's get to the countdown:

Number 5: It was posted on September 27th of this year and it was related to Chris Browns GF being pregnant or not. Number 5 is MediaTakeOut.com claims Chris Brown got his GF pregnant
it got over 1600 page Views

Number 4: is also related to Chris Browns Girl Friend and her being "Pregnant" (which she's not). This time it's Karrueche Tran (aka Chris Brown GF) responds to MTOs newest story on her it also got over 1600 page views but got more than number 4 by only 9

Number 3: This one is related to Jay Severin being fired from WTTK back in July and Jay decided to sue. Coming in at Number 3 is: Jay Severin suing WTKK 96.9 this post got over 2200 page views. My post on him actually getting fired only got 1200 page views

Number 2: This one is related to Chris Brown and his Girl Friend yet again. I decided to post my opinion on whether or not Chris Brown GF was pregnant or not based on a tweet, I was proved right. Number 2 is: Chris Brown GF Karrueche Tran not pregnant? this one also got over 2200 page views and beat Number 3 by only 12

Number 1: I hardly post anything that is Local to me, I do sometimes but I don't expect it get many views. The number one post kind of surprised me and was published back in April and was related to the local radio station here hosting "Summer Jam". The number one post on my blog for 2011 which got over 2300 page views is: Summer's Biggest concert is Back!! Summer Jam 2011 line up.

The post about the concert in Las Vegas: The Biggest Live Music Concert ever will be in Las Vegas!!!
came in at Number 7 with over 1300 page views. I would think more people would be more interested in that but they weren't. Oh well.

It's suppose to be the most wonderful time of the year, each religion has their Holidays they celebrate and "goodwill towards" men. It's suppose to be a time where we try to get along with each other and respect each other but on Fox Nation, hate is there 24/7 365 days a year.

Christmas is over and the Holiday of Kwanza is being celebrated but readers of the trash site Fox Nation decided to attack the holiday on a Fox Nation thread that linked to The Roots (the below comments DO NOT appear on The Root. I also believe the Root would not allow these comments on it's website or they would be deleted once spotted.):

If going after a Holiday is not enough, how about killing your fellow man (regardless of party affiliation)

What's more disturbing is all the "likes" these comments receive,. Fox Nation is a moderted site that claims in it's "statement of Purpose":

We believe we should enjoy the company and support of each other, delighting in the creativity, ingenuity, and work ethic of one and all, while observing the rules of civility and mutual respect and, most importantly, strengthening our diverse society by striving for unity.

Those comments on Fox Nation is the exact opposite of the purpose. I've called Fox Nation "statement of purpose" a lie earlier this year and they prove it everyday. Those comments do not belong on a website that is run by a major media outlet in the US.

Imaging the outcry if those comments were on a blog run by NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC or CNN? Newsbusters would have a heart attack.

Fox News is the number One news outlet in America (cable news only) but with that being said they should be held to a higher standard and their messed up behavior should not be justified by other bad behavior.

What's more crazy is that another blog defended those comments about Kwanza or omitted when discussing another blogs post on it. (I made my headline specific because another blog nitpicked the headline on another site that site forgot to mention/add readers)

There are rumors going around online that Beyonce had her baby girl but it has not been confirmed yet by anyone. Rumorfix.com reports:

The Internet is buzzing that superstar Beyonce may have given birth to a baby girl.

According to unconfirmed reports, the singer named her daughter Tiana May Carter and delivered her first child at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York.
Beyonce’s website still shows that the pop star is performing “I Was Here” for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Saturday.

Rumors are circulating that Rihanna and Chris Brown are going to get back together fueled by these two tweets:

Chris Brown is currently dating Karrueche Tran, who is allegedly pregnant if you believe MediaFakeOut.com err.. I mean MediaTakeOut.com-so is Chris going to dump Karrueche to get back with Rihanna? I only ask because if the rumors are true that's what's going to happen.

Chris Brown and Rihanna may still be in love with each other but that doesn't mean they will get back together. We'll see what happens though.

I decided to ask Rihanna on twitter and I'll let you know what she says. If you don't see a updated post then you will know she didn't get back to me or anyone else that asked about it.

Verizon pulls pay fee

Yesterday it was reported that Verizon wireless was going to charge customers $2 for paying their Bill online and it excluded customers who paid by check or signed up for autopay. The FCC decided to look into the fee and now Verizon has pulled it after the angry backlash/criticism they received. Verizon Wireless was going to charge customers $2 to pay their bill online (which is probably high already)-did Verizon really think nothing would happen? Please.

Verizon Wireless has decided to scrap the $2 fee it planned to institute for online and telephone single payments less than 24 hours after a wave of backlash and criticism hit the mobile carrier.

The company, a joint venture between Verizon Wireless (VZ: 40.20, +0.15, +0.37%) and Vodafone (VOD: 28.08, +0.34, +1.23%), unveiled plans Thursday to start charging a fee for those payments on January 15.
The announcement was immediately hit with criticism from customers that were already fuming over service outages from earlier in the week. Verizon said it made the decision in response to customer feedback.

It also comes amid criticism from industry watchers, including the Federal Communications Commission, which said earlier on Friday it was "concerned" about the charge and was looking into the matter.

“At Verizon, we take great care to listen to our customers,” Verizon CEO Dan Mead said in a statement. “Based on their input, we believe the best path forward is to encourage customers to take advantage of the best and most efficient options, eliminating the need to institute the fee at this time.”
The plan was intended to improve the efficiency of those transactions, and Verizon said it continues to encourage customers to take advantage of its various payment options.

I don't have Verizon Wireless but if I did I would be angry and would sign up for auto pay or cancel the service altogether.

Bank Of America tried a similar stunt last month-they were going to charge customers $5 a month for Debit Cards. They were forced to drop the idea after fierce criticism and backlash.

One thing that concerns me is that Verizon might find a clever way to add the fees-I wouldn't be surprised if Verizon Wireless announces a price increase in the next year or so. It would effect new customers or customers that switch plans. I could be wrong however.

The worst of MediaTakeOut.com in 2011

As 2011 comes to a close, I look back at the worst of MediaTakeOut.com this year.

Number 10: MediaTakeOut.com "reported" that Brandy was pregnant, needless to say it was false. That wasn't so bad but in the same month MTO tried again to claim that Kim Kardashian and Kayne West were dating this time citing when the two were photoed at a shoot together, while ignoring the fact that Kim was dating Kris Humphries at the time. Later that month MTO tried again to say that the two were dating this time using twitter!! The two followed each other on twitter and poof-they're dating. It's laughable!! It was all false.

Number 9: MTO "reported" that Nelly owed Ashanti money, to bad it was false.

Number 8: MediaTakeOut.com saw Beyonce and Jay-Z hanging out and just "asked" if they were with Jay-Zs "secret son". He wasn't and MTO was called out over it.

Number 7: Speaking of Jay-Z and his "secret son"-MTO "reported" about it and then turned around and said that the magazine "Star" confirmed the story, the only problem that MTO didn't report is that the man that "Star" spoke to, changed his story saying he lied.

Number 6: Will Smith was spotted in a SUV, "driving" according to MTO-the problem was he was in the backseat and that Male companion that he was with? It was Jadas' brother.

Number 5: MTO "reported" that Rihanna was going to leave her label and to this day she is still there, needless to say MTOs "report" was false.

Number 4: MTO decided to report about Gil Noble who had a stroke and then turned around and said they were first to break it, the only problem was the story was broken the day before on another site. I called them out on it.

Number 3: There were many misleading and downright false Headlines on MTO but when it comes to this one, I have no idea how they could have made it:

So Where in the world did MTO get Solange Knowles???? Orlando has been rightfully bashed for his comment about Palin. It's wrong and disgraceful.

Number 2: Christina Aguilere was photoed with her son which had a bruise and claimed that Christina hurt him somehow, they were blasted for it by rumorfix.com and by GossipCop.com, Christina came out and denied hurting her son and her son injuries was by her son falling down while chasing squirrels. Christina was furious over it.

Number 1: The idea of people dating is nothing new but MTOs' proof of that in 2011 was laughable. Earlier this year MTO "reported" that Toni Braxton and BETs 106 & Park co-host Terrance J was dating because of Facebook likes. Toni had to come out and say the story was false.

The site also used twitter to say that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush were madly in love with each other and would get back together-this time they used Twitter as proof specifically, when the two tweeted. Both of them tweeted that they were sleeping in. Somehow it was proof they were getting together. Of course it was false and they were called out on it.

Other notables:

MTO "reported" that Lil Wayne slept with a Canada Girl, she came out and denied the claim but they stood by it's story.

Another story MTO is stubborn on is the claim that Chris Browns GF is pregnant. It's false and you can read all about it here, here here here and here.

There was alot of things MTO got wrong this year and last year and you can read everything I have on the website by clicking the labels. Narrowing it down just to 10 was tough.

I'm not done exposing the site and I will continue doing it in 2012.

(one other note: readers may question why I didn't put anything about Beyonce Pregnancy on this list, it's because I'm not totally convinced that she's pregnant. I have my doubts because of the strange events surrounding it. It might be MTOs biggest lie of 2011 or it could be true. I don't know if we will ever truly know for sure.)

MediaTakeOut.com spins Gallup Poll

A recent Gallup Poll has Pres. Obama approval rating at 46% and a disapproval rate of 48%-the difference is not huge and the approval rating hasn't moved much in the past few months.

Now enter MediaTakeOut.com who is a blind supporter of Obama, who spun the Poll with the following headline "OBAMA SURGE!!! For The First Time In ALMOST A YEAR . . . President Obama Is Seen More POSITIVELY . . . Than NEGATIVELY!!!".

Readers took MTO to task over it:

Of course that's not what the graph shows, this being mto and all, but there's no doubt he'll win a second term.

I guess MTO didnt actually look at that poll, because a higher percentage of people disapproved than approved in this poll so the headline doesnt make any sense. Obama has no chance in 2012. He cant run on his record because it sucks. He cant run on hope and change because he gives noone hope and he cant change from what he is. Hes going to run on class warfare and blaming the rich for him being a failure. No one can give a valid arguement for why he deserves another term. The only people who support him are blacks and die-hard liberals. Anyone with a brain can see hes over his head

The truth is that nearly less than half of this country approves or disapproves of the job Obama is doing. Sure the MTO headline is trivial but it's part of a pattern of false/misleading headlines from MTO.

The two sat together, in private. And they looked like they've known each other for some time.

That was news to Victor because he claims that they never met:

One thing not in doubt about Beyonce supposed Pregnancy is that it's been very weird. In One picture she is huge and in the next not so huge and the questionable decision of Beyonce wearing High heels during a pregnancy. (yes I have read criticism on MTO about it in the comment section) You also had this.

With all the strange things many people are now believing that Beyonce is faking her pregnancy and is lying to everyone around her (either that or they are somehow in on it). I ridiculed MTO over their reports but when I read this blind item (especially this one) and this one-the clues fit.

However one might say Beyonce really is pregnant and you can see it in her face, Unless of course she had that already covered:

No bowl games for Ohio State in 2012

The NCAA on Tuesday told Ohio State that for one year it is banned from participating in a Bowl game.

The NCAA handed down a one-year bowl ban, in addition to other penalties, in its ruling on Ohio State's case. Ohio State in 2012 will miss a bowl game for the first time since the 1999 season and be ineligible to participate in the 2012 Big Ten championship game.

The other penalties handed down were more or less expected: four additional scholarship losses (total of nine) and an additional year of probation. Everyone expected Tressel to receive a show-cause penalty, although the length and severity of the sanction handed down by the NCAA raised some eyebrows.

The big surprise, at least inside the walls of the Fawcett Center and the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, is the bowl ban. Smith didn't expect it. New head coach Urban Meyer didn't expect it. Current and former players didn't expect it.

The Ohio state scandal also forced Jim Tressel to step down as coach.

According to a member of the Lakers TEAM, we're told that Kobe and Lamar talked OPENLY last season about Kobe's marital problems. And that Lamar offered to 'HOOK KOBE UP' with his wife Khloe's sister, KIM KARDASHIAN, if Kobe and wife Vanessa would ever split up.

Well now that Kobe and Vanessa are OFFICIALLY divorcing, we're told by our TOP SECRET SNITCH that Kobe has AGREED to go on a DATE with Kim. The insider explained, "Kobe [always] had a crush on Kim, but he knew that if they ever dated, she'd go right to the press. Now that he's [legally separated] he doesn't really care."

Wow . . . if Kim K lands Kobe . . . that would OFFICIALLY make her the next J LO. That's pretty SHADY of her though, since Kobe was romantically linked to her EX-BFF Carla DiBella.

Alcohol and drugs only add to the problem and put more people in danger. The holidays have a tendency to exacerbate family tension, drug use, and financial woes, causing people to act out in violent and destructive ways.

6 year old boy buys christmas gifts for other children

A 6 year old boy spent $1,000 in prize money to buy gifts for children that are at the Ronald McDonald House.

A 6-year-old boy used a $1,000 prize to provide early Christmas gifts to other youngsters.

Aiden Moe of Bryant delivered "Pillow Pet" toys on Saturday to families at the Ronald McDonald House in Sioux Falls. The house is used by families who have children in local hospitals.The toys are pillows shaped like animals.

Aiden received one recently when he was a patient at a Brookings hospital, and he liked it so much he wanted other youngsters to have one. He bought more than 100 toys.

Aiden's mother, JaMae Moe, tells KSFY-TV that she's happy her son wants to give back to others. She says: "It makes me feel like I raised him well."The Moes live in Bryant, S.D., about 110 miles northwest of Sioux Falls

That was a very generous and thoughtful act by the youngster.

Think that President Obama will stand by his word and veto the legislation that will allow the government to detain American citizens without charge or trial? Think again.

The Obama administration has insisted that the president will veto the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012, a bill that passed through the Senate last week. Under the legislation, the United States of America is deemed a battlefield and Americans suspected of committing a terrorism offense can be held without trial and tortured indefinitely. Despite the grave consequences for citizens and the direct assault on the US Constitution, the act managed to make it through both halves of Congress but President Obama says he won’t let it become a law.

According to Senator Carl Levin, however, Americans should be a bit more concerned about what the president’s actual intentions are. Levin, who sits on the Armed Services Committee as chairman, has revealed to Congress that the Obama administration influenced the wording of the act and shot down text that would have saved American citizens from the indefinite imprisonment and suspension of habeas corpus.

The US is rapidly becoming less free and every citizen should be outraged and speak up. Obama signed this.

Will Smith and Jada came so close to getting a divorce

Over the summer there were rumors that Will Smith and Jada were going to get a divorce, a rumor that was denied first by Smiths son Trey and then by the couple themselves. But it was not a happy time and the couple was oh so close to getting a divorce.

Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have bounced back from the separation rumors that plagued them earlier this year … and TMZ has learned it was differing opinions on how to manage their superstar kids that caused the original strife.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ they are doing “wonderful” now — but earlier this year, sources tell TMZ there was tension between the two over how best to manage the careers of Jaden and Willow.
We’re told each had their own ideas for how things should be handled — with Will pushing more for full-blown stardom and Jada leaning towards easing them in to things.

But our sources say that bad patch — which included rumors Jada had an affair with Marc Anthony — is now past them and things are back to normal.

(the story reminds me of a blind item I once read) I'm glad to see that the couple was able to fix things. The two got married back in 97.

Kobes cheating was the last straw for Vanessa

On the air for nearly two decades, many young people today can't even remember a time when The Simpsons wasn't a part of weekly (or in some cases, daily) television viewing. During those twenty years, the show has poked fun at just about every pop culture fad and historical period, as well as scores of famous names. While sometimes silly, the show isn't all fluff, and some of the famous names it's lampooned have been some pretty well-known and well-regarded authors. Whether you want to find out more about authors that might be worth reading or just want to learn more about all things Simpson, read on to find out about some the giants of the literary world who have appeared on the show.

Neil Gaiman

Gaiman is one of the most recent authors to appear on The Simpsons. Famous for his sci-fi and fantasy books, the author was appropriately helping Homer, Bart, and a host of other characters to write a young adult novel about vampires, trolls, and other monsters-of-the-minute that are all over pop culture. An award-winning author of the children's fantasy novel The Graveyard Book, Gaiman uses his expertise to help the team crack the code for creating the perfect best-selling YA novel (hint: it involves mixing elements of Twilight, Harry Potter, and a few trolls), but success in the publishing world isn't quite what they expected, nor is Gaiman the ally in their quest for millions they thought he was.
Stephen King

Stephen King is one of the most prolific and popular authors today, publishing numerous best-selling novels during his long career, so it only makes sense that'd he show up in an episode of The Simpsons. King appears comes into an episode when the family decides to take in a book festival, repayment to Lisa for the destruction of her room in a VCR repair gone wrong. When they meet the iconic author, Marge tells him to, "Call me when you start writing horror again," a jab at the author for getting away from his core audience, perhaps. King dutifully notes her request, however, with no hard feelings.
Amy Tan

Like King, Amy Tan also appears on The Simpsons in the book fair episode. Lisa, excited to meet the author of The Joy Luck Club, participates in a panel with the authors, telling her that she loved the book and that "It really showed me how the mother-daughter bond can triumph over adversity." Tan responds that that's not what she meant at all with the book and that Lisa should just sit down as she's embarrassing the both of them. Not a flattering portrait, perhaps, but one might imagine that after months of promoting a book that's what authors would like to say.
John Updike

He may be a Pulitzer Prize winner, but that didn't stop this famous author from appearing on The Simpsons. Updike is also hanging out at the book fair, but for a different reason than Tan or King. It's revealed that he's the ghost writer behind Krusty's new autobiography Your Shoes Are Too Big to Kickbox with God. Clearly not an awards contender like Updike's Rabbit series, Krusty is at the fair promoting it nonetheless. Updike has few lines and reflected later that he struggled with the small chuckle he was supposed to deliver (which promoted Krusty to tell him to shut up), hoping to make it perfect for the show.
Thomas Pynchon

Thomas Pynchon is a famous recluse, a lifestyle that is perhaps well-suited for crafting the dense and complex novels he writes. While Pynchon hasn't appeared in pretty much any media for decades, he has been featured in not one, not two, but three Simpsons episodes. In the first, called "Diatribe of a Mad Housewife" (an episode rife with literary references, and perfect for any bibliophile) he plays himself, though with a bag over his head. He also writes a blurb for the novel Marge has penned that says, "Thomas Pynchon loved this book, almost as much as he loves cameras!" In his second appearance, his lines consist entirely of puns made off of the titles of his novels (example: "These wings are 'V'-licious! I'll put this recipe in 'The Gravity's Rainbow Cookbook', right next to 'The Frying of Latke 49'"), which are sure to elicit more than a few groans from literature lovers. In his third and final appearance, he takes on a non-speaking role, appearing at the Word Loaf convention along with host of other famous authors.
Mitch Albom

Mitch Albom has written several books, but he's perhaps most famous for his true life story Tuesdays with Morrie. Naturally, the episode on which he appears is a parody of that book, and is called "Thursdays with Abie." Unlike many of the other authors on this list, Albom doesn't only appear on the show as himself, instead also voicing the character of Marshall, a journalist who follows Grandpa Simpson around to record his life stories. Albom also shows up as himself, however, entering the nursing home as a journalist competing to record Grandpa's stories, but is told to take a hike, as Grandpa already has his journalist.
Tom Clancy

Tom Clancy appears in a couple of episodes of The Simpsons, but only has a speaking role, actually voiced by the author, in one. Like Pynchon, Clancy also appears in the episode where Marge decides to become an author. Asked to give a sound bite about Marge's book, Clancy comes up with the groan-inducing, "Hello this is Tom Clancy. Would I say, 'if you're hunting for a good read this October, Marge Simpson's book is a clear and present danger to your free time?' Hell no I wouldn't! Whaddya mean I just said it. That doesn't count. Hello? Hello?" Classic Simpsons humor with a literary twist!
Stephen Jay Gould

If you're not much into non-fiction reading, you might not be familiar with Stephen Jay Gould, but when it comes to writing on evolution, paleontology, and popular science, he was one of the biggest names in the business. Before he passed away in 2002, Gould appeared on an episode of The Simpsons called "Lisa the Skeptic," in which the town discovers a skeleton that they believe to be from an angel. Lisa brings a sample of the angel to Gould to test, while the rest of the town goes gaga over the so-called angel. Gould isn't painted in the best light in the episode, however, never actually doing the tests, but telling Lisa the results were inconclusive.
J.K. Rowling:

Given the fervent following Rowling's Harry Potter series has generated around the world, it would have been difficult for such a pop culture-focused show like The Simpsons to have ignored her influence. When the Simpson family makes a quick hop across the pond to England for a vacation, they run into Rowling as she's coming out of a bookstore. Lisa thanks her for turning a generation of young kids onto reading and asks what happens at the end of the Harry Potter series (the episode was aired in 2003). Rowling replies, "He grows up and marries you. Is that what you want to hear?", much to Lisa's delight.
Michael Chabon

Michael Chabon appears as part of a literary power foursome that includes authors Jonathan Franzen, Gore Vidal, and Tom Wolfe appearing at the satirical Word Loaf Literary Conference. All of the authors have some great lines that poke fun at their work while they praise Moe for his surprisingly inspired poetry (created with the help of Lisa, of course). The episode includes a literary shunning and a great fight between Chabon and Franzen, where Chabon declares, "That's it, Franzen! I think your nose needs some Corrections!" Originally, the episode was to end with the authors being crushed by a boulder, but the show took pity on the authors and let them escape with only mild injuries.

It's official: Chris Paul to the Clippers

Chris Paul has been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Los Angeles Clippers have acquired guard Chris Paul in a trade with the league-owned New Orleans Hornets.

The Clippers will send guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick to the Hornets for Paul. The Clippers will also receive two future second-round picks.

The deal required the approval of NBA commissioner David Stern.

The move puts an end to a tortured week in which the Hornets' season sat in limbo while the NBA took a public relations beating over everything from potential conflicts of interest, to stunting the Hornets' pursuit of free agents, to disrespecting the New Orleans fan base.

"I knew we were doing the best thing for New Orleans and that was my job," Stern said. "You have to stick with what you think was right. I must confess it wasn't a lot of fun, but I don't get paid to have fun."
Stern said he never allowed other owners' opinions or considerations of large and small markets to determine where Paul, one of the NBA's biggest stars, would end up. He said his only focus was on getting the best deal for the Hornets.

The Hornets at last have a measure of certainty about the roster they'll have when the regular season begins in less than two weeks

Blind item: This time About Beyonces' Surrogate?

I just finished reading this blind item and all the clues seem to fit Beyonce again. If she really is faking her pregnancy and lying to everyone-that is disgraceful.:

[BlindGossip] She was brought in from outside the United States. She only speaks Spanish (or Portuguese?), and has a child who is approximately Kindergarten age. She is fairly attractive, looks like she is in her late twenties, and has thick, dark brown hair and medium-colored skin. You probably wouldn’t notice her if she was walking down the street. However, it doesn’t really matter what she looks like, as she is simply the Surrogate for a baby that is a genetic combination of the soon-to-be Mom and Dad.

The Surrogate is currently living on the Lower West Side of Manhattan with her first child in a very nice apartment. She is not married, and does not really know anyone in New York, but she does want to stay here once the birth is over. The apartment is being paid for by the Couple. The Surrogate is well-cared for by a full-time staff person and there is always a doctor or nurse on call. She looks like she is approximately eight months pregnant, and is clearly much bigger than the Mom, who is simply playing pregnant.

By the way, the Mom was physically capable of bearing her own child, but she didn’t want to “ruin” her body.

Every single comment on Blind Gossip says Beyonce. I would be amazed if this wasn't about Beyonce.

Jessica Simpson is also pregnant but we don't hear anything suspicious about that pregnancy.

I just finished reading this blind item and the only one that comes to mind is Beyonce because all the clues fit:

[BlindGossip] Well, this certainly has been the most incredible pregnancy ever! Bellies growing and shrinking! Breasts swelling and flattening! Prosthetics flopping and popping!

Frankly, all this trickery is exhausting, and hasn’t been nearly as convincing as she hoped it would be. Therefore, Floppy will be keeping a low profile for the next month.

So, she’s not really pregnant, but there will be a baby soon. And Floppy has been very busy behind the scenes shaking that baby money tree! Some money is going out (payments to medical professionals who will swear that they were there for the birth), but much, much more money will be coming in.

She will be making money off of the fake story of the baby’s birth (which will be a C-section for Real Mommy but a “vaginal” delivery for Floppy). And more money off of the baby photos. And the story of how important it is to her that she “breast-feeds” her baby. And the story of how she lost the “baby weight”. And the photos of her “new” body (with no stretch marks!) achieved with grueling workouts and healthy eating. And more stories about how amazingly fast she got back into shape and got back to work. What an incredible woman! Hey, there’s serious money to be made off of this baby, and you can be sure that Floppy will “milk” it for all it’s worth.

I've ridiculed MTO for suggestion that Beyonce is faking her pregnancy but they might be right. If this blind is about Beyonce then I was fooled by beyonce and everyone else for believing that she is pregnant. I will be extremely pissed off also.

Further Proof Mariah Yester is a liar and fraud

Remember Mariah Yester? She is the 20 year old woman who ~~lied~~ claimed that Justin Bieber fathered her baby boy who sued and then dropped the Paternity test against Justin?

Well Rumorfix.com spoke to her ex Robert Powell who currently is in Jail and he basically spilled everything:

She lied. We were both homeless and living in Oceanside [California] and Mariah was trying to make some quick money.

So he says she made up the story and sold it to a tabloid for $50,000.

Why target squeaky clean Justin Bieber? “She just picked him, because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She just saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money,” he says.

Although Yeater claims she met Justin at a concert in Los Angeles and they had sex in a bathroom, 23-year-old Powell says Mariah’s never met Justin nor has she been to one of his concerts — she’s only seen him on TV.

Speaking to RumorFix behind a glass panel, Powell got emotional at times saying Trystan Yeater is his son, even though the birth certificate doesn’t list a father.

“She said she was doing it for us … four our family and son. She made it seem like it was all for us but she’s greedy. I don’t know, I still love her though. All I want is to be with my son, that’s all I care about. She can take all her money, I just want my son. And man, on the real, I feel sorry for Justin Bieber. He’s just a little kid man. He don’t need to be going through all this drama. He got a career and sh*t to focus on. I feel sorry for the dude.”

Powell is in jail on three burglary charges a charge of receiving stolen property and drug possession.

I guess she thought he would never fight back in the way that he did. Robert explanation of picking Bieber sounds Plausible since Justin stated he never met Mariah and he quickly leaves after shows. I don't care if you like or hate Justin Bieber, what Mariah did is not right.

Justin submitted DNA for a Paternity test and Mariah also accepted but her team took exception to how Justin submitted his DNA. Justin also was thinking about suing and I think he should just to make a point-never falsely claim a celebrity of being the father when you know it's false.

Chris Paul can't get out of New Orleans

UPDATE: The Clippers and Hornets have resumed talks, this according to ESPN

First it was the LA Lakers that Chris Paul was going to be traded to but the NBA nixed that deal and then a deal was in place for Chris Paul to go to the LA Clippers but that fell apart also. The Hornets wanted according to ESPN.com "shooting guard Eric Gordon and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round draft choice in addition to former All-Star center Chris Kaman and prospects Al-Farouq Aminu and Eric Bledsoe."

The Clippers said no because it was "to high a price" and Chris Paul is still in New Orleans. My advice to Chris: Play for the Hornets this season and then for the 2012-2013 season go wherever you want. The NBA which owns the New Orlean Hornets will then get absolutely nothing for Chris Paul and by doing that he can give the Hornets and the NBA a big middle finger (figurality speaking of course).

I purposely waited to do a post on this because I wanted to see how it would turn out and I'm glad that I did. I honestly don't care where Chris Paul. It's clear that he is not happy in New Orleans and wants to leave but the Hornets are giving him a hard time about it. The NBA owned Hornets may be able to keep him in New Orleans this season but when he becomes a free agent at the end of this season and goes somewhere else then the Hornets would have had burned themselves because they did not get anything in return.

But there is something else that caught my attention while researching this post that is being hidden, Paul might have a side deal with the NY Knicks and depending on what goes on with that, he could end up in New York.

But we'll see about that. Even that trade would have to be approved by the NBA.

Lamar Odom to Dallas

A couple of days after the NBA nixed a deal to send Khloe Kardashian’s husband to New Orleans for Chris Paul, the one-time Los Angeles Laker will now be suiting up for the World Champion Dallas Mavericks.

Lamar has not said a word on Twitter since it seemed he would remain in Los Angeles, but Kardashian cryptically tweeted early this morning, “I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family!”
In exchange for Odom, the Lakers will get the Mavericks’ first 2012 draft choice.

With this news, this MTO headline looks even more embarrassing now.

Meanwhile the LA Lakers have withdrawn from getting Chris Paul. (that was quite a turn around-Last night when I went to Bed, LA resubmitted the trade to the NBA)

Trial Date set for Cristian Fernandez

Cristian Fernandez, a 12 year old Jacksonville boy that is charged with first degree murder of his half brother David Galarraga after he beat him back in March of this year now has a trial date set for February 27th.

The DA has offered plea deals but the defense has rejected them. The plea deal calls for Cristian to plead Guilty and he would serve his time in a Juvenile facility until he turned 21. The defense says of the deal "He didn’t commit second-degree murder and he’s not going to plea to second-degree murder, and that’s the real simple fact of it".

If a plea deal can't be reached, Cristian will be charged with a additional crime that could put him behind bars for the rest of his life:

State Attorney Angela Corey said Monday the other case involves the murder defendant assaulting another half brother. The victim was 5 at the time.

Corey wouldn’t specify if sex abuse was involved, but a court motion the prosecution filed in June said the 5-year-old told authorities Cristian molested him. The filing also said Cristian admitted it to sex crimes detectives.

Corey said authorities will have no choice but to go to trial on both matters if the defense continues to reject her office’s previous plea offer.

“There has been a pending charge all along,” Corey said. “… We’re all still hopeful of resolving the case.”

Both the DA and the defense agree that Cristian should serve his time in a Juvenile facility but are disagreeing on a deal that could let that happen.

In what has to be the most absurd story of the week, MediaTakeOut claims that newly pregnant Kourtney Kardashian may give her second child to her sister Khloe.

And it gets even more insane from there.

The site says the supposed baby swap is part of a new possible plotline for a new reality show.

We’re not making this up.

MediaFakeOut claims, “We spoke with an E! television insider who tell us that the network has PITCHED the idea of Kourtney GIVING THE CHILD SHE’S CARRYING to her sister Khloe.”

The blog notes, “Khloe has been OUTSPOKEN about her fertility issues,” and then quotes the alleged E! “insider” as saying, ”It would be perfect, Kourtney can help Khloe (sic) it would add an interesting new wrinkle to their family dynamic. Not to mention, it would be ratings gold.”

An actual E! insider tells us the story is “absolutely false,” and a Kardashian source calls it “ridiculous.”

Really, MTO?

MTO is serious but if this is suppose to be a "reality show" why are ideas being "pitched" to the Kardashians? But here is the other thing......MTO is so anti-Kardashian that they will report anything, even something like this.

We don’t know where MediaTakeOut comes up with these outrageous stories, but we have to applaud them for their creativity. The website is claiming in an exclusive story that a pregnant Kourtney Kardashian might give the child she’s carrying to her younger sister Khloe.

MTO says that an E! network insider is the one pitching the idea to the Kardashian clan. According to the website:

An E! insider tells MediaTakeOut, ‘It would be perfect! Kourtney can help Khloe, and it would add an interesting new wrinkle to their family dynamic. Not to mention, it would be ratings gold.’”

As you probably imagined, a source close to Khloe and Kourtney tells us that this rumor is complete bull.

MediaTakeout.coms' NBA headline is extremely wrong!!

MediaTakeOut.com continues to embarrass itself and knows nothing about the NBA it seems. Today they seriously embarrassed themselves. When the Lockout ended a couple of weeks ago, MTO called it a "strike" that was over. Many readers called out MTO over it. The players were locked out-they were not on "strike". I let it go because, well because I just did.

Today However I'm not letting a wrong headline go. The Los Angeles Lakes wanted Chris Paul and was willing to trade Lamar Odom and Paul Gasol to get him-everything was fine until other NBA teams objected to the NBA about it and David Sterns said "NO"-meaning that the trade won't happen.

Now there is another other side to this story because Lamar is married to a Kardashian. The Huffington Post wrote a article about that aspect of it (what did it mean to the show).

MediaTakeOut.com decided to link to the story with the following headline "Chris Paul Trade To The Lakers OFF . . . Did KRIS KARDASHIAN Nix The Trade . . . Because She WANTED Lamar Odom In Los Angeles!!!"

MTO is joking right?? The article never mentions Kris Kardashian or Kris Jenner (that's probably who they were referring to). MTO is also very very dumb if they think that a objection from a Kardashian can stop a NBA trade, they can disagree with the trade but they can't stop one. The NBA nixed the trade not a Kardashian family member. The article also never mentions the reason why the trade was nixed. A deal was in place and the NBA said no to it.

Seriously though, how dumb is MediaTakeOut.com? The editor that approved that headline must have been drunk/high or taking a break.

I haven't posted anything on him in the past couple of weeks but I'm still following the case and here is the latest:

All Eight victims will testify against him

Sandusky gave a creepy interview with the NYTimes where he admitted he was physical with Boys and is attracted to boys (and girls).

But those are old, here are newer developments:

Two more boys accused Sandusky of molesting them to where he was arrested and bail was set at $250,000 which he posted. He is now under home arrest and can have no contact with any Children.

Jerry Sandusky wife is sticking by him and says the 10 boys are lying (wait, she was with him 24/7? I think she is in denial)

The total of charges against Sandusky is now at 52. The number of boys accusing Sandusky is now at 10.

The question I do have is does the DA have any actual evidence that Sandusky molested these boys or is just a he said /he said" in other words a circumstantial case? (i.e...10 boys: he molested me, Sandusky: No I didn't) I ask because that is what a judge and jury will want to know, especially the jury to convict.

The jury can't convict on emotion, they need to convict/acquit based on the evidence presented whether we like it or not.

Shailey Tripp hires noted forensic expert to examine electronic property seized by police

Here is the latest when it comes to Shailey Tripp vs the Anchorage Police Department. It looks like the APD sent over everything they had that belonged to Shailey and now it's going to be examined to see if it was tampered with. This from a Press release that I received in my inbox today:

COVINGTON, LA: Shailey Tripp, the 37-year-old former licensed massage therapist embroiled in a sex scandal involving the husband of former Vice Presidential candidate and FOX news pundit Sarah Palin, has hired a well known private investigator to determine whether computers and cell phones believed to contain evidence of her affair with Todd Palin may have been tampered with while in the custody of the Anchorage Police Department (APD) in Anchorage, Alaska.

“I have instructed my attorney to submit all of my electronic property, including cell phones, to Colorado Springs P.I. Ed Opperman and his Nevada based digital forensic company, Accurate Information Recovery Inc.,” Tripp said, adding, “My expectation is that he will be able to recover substantial evidence of my relationship with Todd and corroborate what I have been saying about Todd's prostitution activities.”

"I look forward to examining the material in question," , adding, "Once my examination is complete the report will be made available to Ms. Tripp for her to do as she wishes. We have no political stake or opinion in the matter. This is just an impartial search for the truth."

When Tripp was arrested for prostitution by the APD in March 2010, officers seized a sizeable amount of electronic gear and paper documentation that Tripp has maintained contain evidence of a prostitution ring that included Todd Palin and other powerful figures in Alaska. When her case was dismissed last June, Judge Pamela Washington ordered that all of Tripp’s property be returned to her. After battling the APD for several months the department finally returned some of her property but not all.In an effort to gain the return of her remaining property Tripp has file a complaint with APD’s Internal Affairs Division and the Municipal Ombudsman. Then on November 30 Judge Washington took the unusual step of issuing a new order to the Anchorage Municipal Prosecutor and APD, giving the agencies ten days to comply or be held in contempt.Opperman will examine the electronic equipment that has been returned to Trip so far. “A big part of Mr. Opperman’s job will be to determine of any of my property was tampered with while it was in the APD’s possession. Detective McKinnon assured me that it had not been examined.Tripp has ample reason to be concerned after learning that an APD officer, Lt. Dave Parker, issued a misleading press release at the specific request of Sarah Palin lawyer John Tiemessen. The release, which coincided with a planned National Enquirer expose about Todd, stated that APD had examined Tripp’s property and found no mention of Todd Palin. The Palins used this press release to discredit the Enquirer story and the tabloid decided not to pursue the story. Parker later admitted to blogger/lawyer Malia Litman that the department had not thoroughly examined the property and therefore could not exclude Todd as being tied to Tripp.Tripp has asked APD Internal Affairs to examine whether Parker acted improperly in issuing the press release. Internal Affairs has so far not responded to her request.Tripp’s documentation is part of a book she is writing about her life story, including her involvement with Todd Palin. Because she has received threats, she is taking no chances with her material. “I put all the other evidence such as notebooks, calendars, appointments books, receipts, gift certificates, client forms, and other materials in a secure location,” she said. “I have taken the added step of making multiple copies and saving them in several locations physcially and on the Internet.

Life and Style magazine is reporting that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush are back together

Reggie has been a rock for Kim, in her time of need. A friend of the Kardashian family said, “Reggie reached out to Kim via text shortly after she announced she was filing for divorce to make sure she was okay. They’ve stayed in touch ever since, texting and talking. Kim was Reggie’s first love. He knows she’s hurting right now, but when the time is right, he’ll swoop in and take care of her.”

The spy went on to reveal, “He’s concerned about her; he’s making sure she’s holding it together. Reggie always knew that it wasn’t going to work, so he’s been waiting and watching.”

He probably only knew that it wasn’t going to work because Kim told him that their whole marriage was faked from the start. We all kind of figured it was this huge publicity stunt for money and ratings. We only have Ryan Seacrest and E! to blame for their popularity.

Finishing the season strong requires collective toughness and a little luck, attributes that not every team possesses. The following teams were plagued with adversity, and their seasons were failures as a result.

1977 Cleveland Browns — started 5-2, finished 6-8

In 1976, the Browns completed a six-game turnaround under second-year head coach Forrest Gregg, overcoming a 1-3 start, but a loss to the Chiefs in the final week of the season cost them a playoff berth. They continued to play well during the first half of the 1977 season, boasting a 5-2 record and a one-game lead over the rival Steelers. After a low-scoring, unexciting loss to the Bengals in week eight, the Browns entered week nine prepared to reassert control of the division. Instead, quarterback Brian Sipe suffered a season-ending injury, the Browns lost, and they proceeded to win just one of their last five games. Coach Gregg lost his job before the season ended.
1978 Washington Redskins — started 6-0, finished 8-8
The Redskins fired head coach George Allen, who boasted a .691 winning percentage in seven seasons with the team, after the 1977 season because he failed to make the playoffs. It was a questionable move, but nobody was complaining when the Skins began the 1978 season 6-0 under new head coach Jack Pardee, who fully utilized the team's rushing attack led by John Riggins. But, when they went on to lose eight of their last 10 games, GM Bobby Beathard placed the blame on Allen, who had been critical of the team throughout the season. In the end, the old coach got the last laugh.
1987 San Diego Chargers — started 8-1, finished 8-7

It was the Chargers' first winning season since 1982 but the manner in which they accomplished their 8-7 record was awfully unsatisfying. Fans were thrilled after the first nine games of the strike-shortened season as the Dan Fouts- and Kellen Winslow-led team boasted an 8-1 record, a far cry from their dismal 4-12 season in 1986. Seven of those wins came by less than a touchdown, an indicator that they were just sliding by their opponents. Their luck ran out during the final six games, all but one of which they lost by double digits. Future Hall of Famers Fouts and Winslow called it quits after the season.
1993 Miami Dolphins — started 9-2, finished 9-7

A torn Achilles tendon suffered during week 5 sidelined Dan Marino for the season, seemingly ending the team's chances of reaching the Super Bowl. However, hope was kept alive by backup Scott Mitchell, who performed well in his first four starts before suffering his own injury. Veteran Steve DeBerg stepped in, winning his first two starts and helping the Dolphins to a 9-2 record. Then, the team lost its ability to win close games, dropping two in a row at home by less than a touchdown, which began a five-game collapse that caused them to miss the playoffs.
1994 Philadelphia Eagles — started 7-2, finished 7-9

With the then-recent firing of head coach Buddy Ryan, loss of Reggie White in free agency, and unfortunate death of Jerome Brown, the Eagles' identity as a defensive powerhouse had somewhat diminished. Even still, the presence of an intimidating group of linebackers, cornerback Eric Allen, and quarterback of Randall Cunningham made them playoff contenders. An impressive 7-2 start to the season, including a win over rival and defending Super Bowl champion Cowboys in Texas Stadium, had Eagles fans excited over a possible NFC East championship. In the middle of the season, head coach Rich Kotite announced he would explore job options following the season, as new owner Jeffrey Lurie made it apparent he wouldn't renew his contract. That disruption, along with inconsistencies on both sides of the ball, caused the Eagles to lose their final seven games of the season.
1995 Oakland Raiders — started 8-2, finished 8-8

Welcomed back to Oakland after spending 13 seasons in Los Angeles, the Raiders had little trouble regaining their fan following after winning eight of their first 10 games of the season. Needing only a win to clinch a playoff berth, they proceeded to lose their final six games of the season, four of which were at home. Injuries suffered by quarterback Jeff Hostetler, a Pro Bowler in 1994, were the primary reason for the collapse.
1998 Pittsburgh Steelers — started 7-4, finished 7-9

Entering their Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Lions, the Steelers were hoping to finish the season with an AFC Central title and their seventh consecutive playoff appearance. Although the Steelers were favored, the Lions played them to a 16-16 tie in regulation. The game's costliest error occurred during the coin toss, during which Steelers' captain Jerome Bettis changed his call from "heads" to "tails" while the coin was in midair. Referee Phil Luckett interpreted the call as "heads," and when the coin landed on tails, he declared the Lions had won the toss. The Lions proceeded to kick a game-winning field goal on their first possession, and the Steelers proceeded to lose five games in a row.
2003 Minnesota Vikings — started 6-0, finished 9-7

The 1978 Redskins and 2003 Vikings are the only two teams in NFL history to start 6-0 and still miss the playoffs. Unlike the Skins, though, the Vikings had a prolific passing attack, as Dante Culpepper and Randy Moss posted gaudy stats during the season. Of course, they couldn't make up for the team's other deficiencies, which was evident when the team lost seven of its last 10 games, four of which came to teams that finished the season 4-12. In the final game of the season against the Cardinals, one of those 4-12 teams, they were eliminated from the playoffs on the game's final play, in which the Cards' Josh McCown completed a game-winning touchdown pass to Nate Poole on 4th-and-28, capping off the come-from-behind victory.
2007 Detroit Lions — started 6-2, finished 7-9

Lions' fans were cautiously optimistic about their team's 6-2 start in 2011, and for good reason. Four years ago, the team tallied the same record through eight games, only to watch their playoff hopes wither away because of a putrid defense that finished the season ranked last in the league in points allowed. Twice the unit allowed 40 or more points — the second time occurred during the team's six-game skid. The offense, led by Jon Kitna and Roy Williams, was far from prolific, and failed to compensate for the weaknesses on the other side of the ball. Fortunately for the Lions, this year's team has much, much more talent.
2008 Tampa Bay Buccaneers — started 9-3, finished 9-7

In a matter of a month, the Bucs went from the upper tier of the NFC to missing the playoffs, and it was, for the most part, due to the collapse of the defense. At the very beginning of December, longtime defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin announced his plan to leave the team after the season to join his son's coaching staff at the University of Tennessee. After the he delivered the news, his unit gave up 38, 34, and 31 points in three of its last four games. The team's four-game losing streak resulted in the firing of head coach John Gruden and GM Bruce Allen, both of whom were given contract extensions before the season.

Drake again denies the claim he is leaving Young Money

Last Week Drake fired his managers and others and while Bossip.com reported the news, the unreliable MediaTakeOut.com "reported" that it proved he was leaving the Label. Bossip reported that Drake was tired of having so many hands in his pockets and decided to let some of them go. (read my story on the whole thing here).

Drake performed in Hartford, Connecticut over the weekend and said "“If you ever wake up in the morning and you think Young Money ain’t my team, you out of your motherf–ing mind I’mma tell you that right now!”

As expected MTO again for the 3rd time did not correct or update it's story. Maybe Drake realized he had to many people around him and decided he didn't need all of them and decided to get rid of some.

Like I said before Time will tell.

Beyonce on fake Pregnancy rumors: They are "Ridiculous"

Beyonce sat down with ABCs Katie Couric on 20/20 to discuss many topics and those rumors of faking her pregnancy came up:

You know, there are certain things that are so far… it doesn’t even upset you,” says the superstar, adding, “It’s so ridiculous and over the top. My mother, she’s like, ‘Nobody’s talking about my grandbaby, my grandbaby’s not even here yet!… I don’t like it!’”

But Katie is very FRESH for doing that. Real or fake, touching a pregnancy ladies belly without asking could get you TWO PIECED!!!

MTO also continues to flip flop all over the place when it comes to this-one day they say she is pregnant and the next they say she isn't. Can't they make up their minds already? They only have 4 people working at the MTO office.

Damn the only way MTO will believe that beyonce is pregnant is if they are in the room when Beyonce delivers. And I'm just expecting some BS on that too. Video:

Judge Pamela Washington has filed an ORDER for return of Shailey Tripps property from the APD

I received a e-mail from Shailey Tripp that says the following:

Judge Pamela Washington has signed an order for Shailey Tripp to "secure the return of her property from the APD"

The order was signed and dated November 30, 2011 and gives the Plaintiff (Municipality of Anchorage) 10 days to respond.

We will see if the APD complies. Like I've said before I've asked Shailey to keep me updated on this.

Because of my posts on Shailey Tripp I've gained new readers/attention and to let you all know-this blog is about different topics: news, weather, sports, music news, entertainment news and "watchdog" in a sense of busting two websites: MediaTakeOut.com and Fox Nation and sometimes Fox News itself. (But I don't pick up every single criticism of FNC- there are other blogs that do that)

I do however accept Guests Posts and Cross Posts and tips. If you think I should know something then shoot me a e-mail about it. During the week I'll respond within 12-24 hours and the weekends it takes a little longer.

This blog is no way a political blog or a Blog about the Palins'. Politics is a very very small part of this blog. There are thousands of blogs about politics and I wanted to do something somewhat different. If there is something I feel strongly about or it's been on my mind I will do a post on it.

You get a little of everything on this blog. some serious posts and some that are not. So feel free to look around and tell me what you think.

Just My Opinion: Why is Fox News forcing their views on Christmas onto others?

It's that time of year again!! We are 23 days until Christmas Day and the Fox News channels annual "War On Christmas" reports are starting up-making local issues into National News stories.

There are two very recent examples: The first is that the Governor of Rhode Island named Lincoln Chafee is calling the Tree in the State House the "Holiday Tree" instead of "Christmas Tree" and because he did not do what Fox News wanted him to do, they called him out. It's a local story that turned into a National story and people harassed him that don't even live in the state about it. So some Fox news view in Florida or Ohio wants the tree in Rhode Island to be called the "Christmas tree" instead of the "Holiday Tree", and it effects them how? and they care why?

Lincoln defended himself by saying "“I’m just continuing what other governors have done,” Chafee told the Herald after dedicating a separate tree to soldiers who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. “I just want to make sure I’m doing everything possible in this building to honor Roger Williams.”

The second is that the Fort Worth school District wants kids to learn (that's why they're in school) instead of giving out presents during school hours or celebrating Christmas during school hours (by not having parties, exchanging gifts during learning/school hours). They can still give each other gifts but either before or after school. Dec. 25th will come and go and Christmas will be celebrated. But Bill O'reilly thinks that school kids should be celebrating Christmas in school and because they're not-he had a segment on it. Again a local story made into a National story and a school where O'reilly or FNC employees probably don't even have children in.

But it's not just getting upset because a tree is being called a "Holiday tree" instead of a "Christmas tree" it's that FNC gets outraged when stores say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". A few years back O'reilly railed against stores that said "Happy Holidays" forcing his opinion onto retailers. His opinion-Stores should say "Merry Christmas" and because his opinion was not being acted upon he called them out. "Say it or I'm going after you!!" in a sense.

Just last Month O'reilly threatened businesses and Merchants if they did not say "Merry Christmas". The fact is there is more than one Holiday this month but to O'reilly and others at FNC only one should be recognized and the others should not be acknowledged. Saying "Happy Holidays" is a all-inclusive and forget me if I'm wrong but Christmas is A HOLIDAY. One could say "Happy Christmas".

Anyway at Fox-it's a problem if what they think what should be done is not done and they go on the attack-forcing their opinions onto others and getting their viewers to harass them.

With so many issues facing this country why the outrage on something minor? There is more than one religion and more than one Holiday in December, And it would be today each Holiday Individually.especially when one is in a rush.

Fox News is forcing their opinions onto others by going after them. "Say this and do this or we're going after you"-led by O'reilly.

Sarah Palin alludes to Shailey Tripp on Hannity

Sean Hannity brought on Sarah Palin to discuss the allegations made against Herman Cain and during the interview she brought up the allegations against her Husband Todd and the whole "trig truthers":

If Herman Cain did not engage in this recent thirteen year affair, screwing around on his wife, and giving money to some broad on the side unbeknownst to his wife, well then, if he did not do this, then the false accuser is really despicable and we shouldn't have to put up with that kind of false accusations that results in somebody's character being so besmirched and really ruined. If he did do it though Sean, if he did it, if he engaged in this recent affair and is misleading the public then, like they said 'boys will be boys' but they shouldn't run the country."

I have had people, who have sworn on a Bible, that they have had affairs with Todd or had affairs with me. Or, one specific one was a masseuse said she massaged me when I was seven months pregnant, and..ah..she could tell that I was not pregnant, and hence Trig was not my kid, and that resulted in this whole Trig Truther issue that I still deal with everyday."

Hmm. Sure she did not mention Shailey Tripps' by name and refuses to do so. I reached out to Shailey about this and she told me "I did massage her in Feb-March of 2008. I did an interview with Malia Litman, Immoral Minority, and National Enquirer in which I say she filled out her paperwork saying she was not pregnant. I also stated that when she gave birth everyone in the office was very shocked. No one , not even the owner knew she was pregnant. She received treatments that a pregnant woman would have never received such as lippodissolve. At the time I was interviewed I had no idea that anything I said about her massage was significant. Only after I discovered there was a whole Internet movement devoted to proving she did not give birth to Trig. I set myself apart from that. I have no interest in Sarah Palin. Yes I have met her. It was insignificant meeting for me I was just afraid she was going to confront me about sleeping with Todd. She never indicated to me when I gave her a massage that she was pregnant"

When reading about the "trig truthers" Shaileys' name has NEVER come up. In fact blogger Andrew Sullivan is the one leading the charge on this. Palin is wrong when she blames Tripp. If Palin wants to blame someone, she should go blame Andrew Sullivan.

On another note-I don't care about the "Trig Truther" movement. Trig is here and has a family who loves him.
Can that just be enough?

Unfortunately, the SOPA does not directly impact the site owners or the IPaddresses, so it will not stop piracy. Most piracy sites are overseas andoutside of US jurisdiction. Anyone in the US who wishes to continue to access apiracy site will be able to do so using the IP address of the pirate's site.What this means is that savvy torrenters will quickly catch on to the new rulesof the game, nullifying much of the effects of the act. Piracy sites will findways to get their IP addresses to their customers without the Internet or theywill launch new domains. Either way, the bill will always be playing acat-and-mouse game with media pirates.

Some proponents point to the $135 billion dollars in lost revenue due to piracyand counterfeit activities. They believe this act will reclaim this income andrestore lost jobs and tax revenue. Unfortunately, the people most likely topurchase pirated or counterfeited goods are often least likely to ever becomelegitimate customers. No matter how much revenue is potentially lost this way,it is not clear that this bill could do anything to recover it.

Shifting Responsibility

Under current law, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act does not hold thirdparty websites responsible for unwittingly hosting material that breakscopyright law or promotes piracy. A content site like YouTube or Twitter can beasked to remove such material when it is found, but these sites are notpunishable for allowing the content to have appeared in the first place.

Under the proposed SOPA, websiteswould be forced to preview all content submitted by third parties to be certainit will not land them afoul of the law. Social media sites like Facebook wouldhave to approve status updates and links before allowing them to post. Giventhe loose definition of what copyright infringement can be interpreted as,someone might decide your wedding video violates copyright because they canhear the music you are dancing to.

Stifling Small Business and Internet Start ups

Knowing the high stakes of piracy will lead most companies to censor heavily toavoid costly litigation. Added layers of approval will add to the costs.Internet firms will pass these costs on to their customers and the price ofdoing business online will rise.

New websites could be hounded out of business by competitors with abundantfinancial and legal resources. Rather than reclaiming lost jobs and revenue,this act will likely make it much more expensive to launch a new Internetbusiness in 2012.

Unprecedented Power

We are already seeing the potential power the SOPA may impart to judges. A Nevada courtrecently ruled in favor of Chanel and ordered the termination of 600 domainsthat possibly promoted or sold counterfeit Chanel products.

It remains to be seen what authority Nevada had to rule on this case, but itdoes demonstrate how the copyright infringement can be punished if SOPA ispassed. Consider that your corner drugstore sells probably sells cheap cologneswith unique names that "smell like" brand names. Everyone knows theyare not buying Chanel No. 5 or Joy. Under SOPA, if that store sold this productonline, it might have its domain seized and shut down for promoting counterfeitor even similar goods.

My Interview with Shailey Tripp

This week I received a e-mail with the claim that the Anchorage Police Department lied to cover up a affair that involves Todd Palin with Shailey Tripp. Shailey alleges that when she was arrested her property was seized and not all of it was returned even after the charges and the case were dropped. She also claims the APD released a fake press release saying that there was zero connection to her and Todd Palin, but later the APD said the release was false but yet they will not say it publicly. You can read that story here. After my story went up she left a comment and I decided to do a new story with just her comment. It was at this point that I e-mailed her with questions. She returned my e-mail with the questions answered. This is her story that she wants people to know about. What led her to this point is that she has contacted the National Media but yet they are only interested on telling one side of the story-the Palins and APD and they refuse to tell her story. Shailey frustrated with being ignored by the National Media decided to make this public herself. She wants her side to be told because her reputation has been ruined because of this. Below is the Interview and her side of the story in her own words.

Have you contacted the National Media?

I have contacted everyone. The AP, New York Times, Life, Time, all the tabloids, all my local news channels, CNN, Alaska Dispatch, Times Picayune, Radaronline, Entertainment Tonight, E online, Perez Hilton, as well as a number of blogs. I have kept them updated, offered to share and show evidence, asked them to at least investigate the story and not even make it about me, etc. On the whole I am just pretty much ignored. A New York Times reporter told my attorney out right that due the National Enquirer dropping my story, that it does hurt my credibility. What amazes me about this is that it prevents anyone from even investigating the story. Again mind blowing.

Do You think the Media is also covering up for the Palins?

Yes. There are numerous things they have not covered or reported on in regards to the Palins. This is bizarre to me. Specifically in regards to my story all my phone records prior to my arrest date have been "lost" "unavailable" "simply do not exist". I had 4 phone numbers, each by different phone companies. Yet the billing exists but they cannot get any details prior to March 4, 2010.

Again I have asked many media to look into this, to see if they could get records. My former attorney was not able to obtain them.

Also 3 reporters have wanted to cover this story. But later came to me and told me outright that the people who owned the paper refuses to go with the story and will not let it go to print. I have emails to back up what I am saying.

Is there anything people should know that was not in the National Enquirer?

Well the National Enquirer stated that I was Todd Palin's mistress/prostitute. What they left out is he prostituted me out to associates. He had me keep records on these associates and I would give them to him. The police said that there was nothing in the evidence they seized to connect him to me. I did tell them about him when they arrested me. However they immediately turned off the microphones and started treating me different. I immediately shut up as a result of that. I did polygraph with the Enquirer multiple times. They were dead sure I was lying or that I was some kind of sociopath. Their polygraphed was really shocked that I passed all the polygraphs they gave me and even personally apologized to me and told me he believed me. I passed all the polygraphs they gave me. I was very surprised the Enquirer did not post these results. Also the Enquirer alerted the Palins about a week or so prior to Christmas of 2010 and told them they were going to run my story. They did not use my name. The Palins immediate threatened law suits. So then the Enquirer decided to run my story as gossip. The last story about me that went to print they printed it as a third party source but I told them verbatim what they printed. They attributed the author of the story as multiple people but again it was Alan Butterfield's direct interview with me that was printed. Also I did give Sarah Palin a massage.

Were You Paid by The National Enquirer for your story?

I had a contract with the Enquirer. They have paid me some money. But they broke their contract with me and have never paid me the remainder. They wanted me to sign a different contract with them and I wouldn't do it and they got very angry and told me they would make sure no one would pick this story up. It seems they were good to their word. Again I have proof.

Did they conduct a polygraph test and what was the results?

Yes, they conducted many polygraphs by a firmer FBI agent who was flown in. He was very scary and made me cry. They were all so sure I was lying. The whole process was grueling and emotional. Very embarrassing. Also the kind of questions the Enquirer asks are very sexual and personal which made that all the more humiliating. However I not only passed all their polygraphs but I passed them beyond any doubts.

Is the National Enquirer still looking into this or are they done?

I do not know. I have asked them twice in the past 3 months if they intended to pick this story back up. They never replied.

Are there witnesses who saw the both of you together or saw Todd arriving/leaving? and if so do you have there contact information?

Yes Loads. I gave the Enquirer and later other news sources a list of over 21 witnesses. To date they have never been interviewed or contacted. I also have there contact information.

Speaking of the witnesses, has anyone contacted them and are they backing up your story or have they decided to keep quiet?

As far as I know only Alan Butterfiled form the National Enquirer spoke to a few witnesses. they were willing to tell their story with no financial compensation. however the Enquirer treated them very badly acted like they were lying and forced them to sign paperwork and contracts stating they would get paid if they did run the story with their statements. Three of these people were so upset they wrote or called basically told me they supported me, they loved me but unless it was for a book or a very legit news source they want nothing to do with any of it. I can;t say I blamed them. I was really humiliated that the Enquirer did that to them. The Enquirer also contacted my very abusive ex and his whole family to get the dirt on me. I had told the Enquirer not to do this because it would put me and my children in danger. The exs family continues to harass me to this day as a result of his contact with them.

I feel confident that many people Will support my story. Oh, the Enquirer interviewed the tenants of the office building where I worked and I think they verified parts of the story as well like yes they knew Todd Palin visited me there, and they would hear us having sex.

The woman who was arrested with me also verified the story to the Enquirer as well.

one person who was a nurse or doctor's assistant at the Women's clinic where i had sex with Todd and gave Sarah a massage is the one who outed me about giving Sarah Palin a massage. I had never told the Enquirer this and had never wanted anyone to know. I didn't even realize this nurse knew. Anyway after that this convinced the Enquirer I wasn't trustworthy and it is part of the reason they dropped the story. Even though I did tel them most of the details about giving her a massage.

What's true and false about the charges that were brought against you?

I go into great detail in my book about this. However the truth is I was charged with running a house of prostitution.. Another person in my office was arrested for being a prostitute. I did not know this until several months later. I thought they had released her for cooperating.Later since I have zero police records and zero trouble with the law I was offered a plea. before I was offered the plea I was going to plead not guilty and have a trial. My lawyer advised me to take the plea because it was 100% guarantee. The original plea I was to abide by certain conditions for one year. If I complied then my guilty plea was going to be changed to not guilty. However when it went before the judge she decided to drop all the charges and she personally told me this was much better for me than a not guilty plea.

I read there were conditions for the case and charges dropped, is that true?

I was never told that my case would get dismissed I and my attorney was really shocked but happy at this outcome. I was told in writing that they would change my plea to not guilty and then expunge my record. The case getting dismissed is better. Yes I had conditions. I would have to look at the paperwork but some of those conditions are correct, I had to perform hours of community service, pay a fine, no posting on craigslist, there were places I could not go to in Anchorage, there were people I could not contact, there were like 10 things in all. I did comply.

NEW Q: How did you meet Todd Palin? (just added 12/2)

To be simple about this I met Todd Palin while I was subbing at one of the schools one of his daughters went to in 2006.

Also to be clear the year I massaged Sara Palin (2008) I had multiple jobs but I did not have any offcies of my own. The Year I was arrested 2010, I did have my own office and no longer worked at the women's clinic. However many of my clients from there still visited me. For many years prior to 2010, I worked with computers doing programming , set up, and repairs AND I was worked as a nail tech and massage therapist, and other odd jobs. In 2009 I started my own computer company specializing in computer security trying to get away from Todd and doing sex services. Also I was in school trying to complete a BS degree. And I worked at multiple places doing massage. I am also a single mother of two handicapped/special needs kids. My child support owed to me is over 50k.

When you were with Todd did he tell you that he loved you and would leave his wife for you?

Todd said nice things to me from time to time. He is a man of few words unless angry. He never said he would leave his wife for me. Occasionally he would buy me nice gifts.He was very very angry with me for rejecting him and the lifestyle he was offering me. He was also very upset once I stopped having a sexual relationship with him and became very verbal and physically menacing. This is a god question and one i am not willing to answer at this time. However I believe out of respect to me and my children that is why he has remained silent about what I say. I think he trying to let me vent and have my say, I would like to think he feels bad. Maybe he is just moving on with his life.

How did the affair end?

What do you say to those who say there is very little to no evidence to confirm your story?

I am not sure why people think there is little evidence to confirm anything I have said about Todd Palin or the police. That is incorrect. There is a lot of evidence. Just because my phone records were made unattainable, doesn't mean there isn't evidence and doesn't mean I didn't record things. It just means we should be asking who has the power to suppress phone records? If we look at Todd Palin's phone records what will we find? If we look at their home number what will we find? If we interview all the employees of all the places I worked at what would they say? If all the unpublished emails from todd Palin and Sarah Palin were made public would my name, places I worked, or my email addresses appear in them? If we looked at Todd Palin's or Sarah Palin's credit card receipts what would we find What pictures does or did Todd have on his cell phone????

I have offered for investigative reporters to please come and just look at the evidence I do have review it and then decide from there. To date this has not happened. Correction Some bloggers have done just that and have posted their findings and interviews they have conducted. As far as the police, they have admitted in interviews, and in emails to me that they did issue things that were not true but feel no need to retract. Also my police report, and all my paperwork with the APD can be reviewed and you can see just from that there is something weird going on. Since John Tiemessen called and asked the APD to write the press release is it so hard to believe that he asked for the police to not return my property? Also we know Todd Palin himself has used Sarah Palin's email account and she even thought she had been hacked when in fact it was her husband who used her email. Also we know Sarah Palin has faked emails and write ins to newspapers to make herself seem favorable. We know that the Palins have fudged online voting to go in their favor. Feel free to contact other bloggers and examine their independent investigations into this area. I think another angle of this whole thing is why haven't the main media picked this story up? Why have they not at least printed my side of the story? or get a quote or statement from me? they even Will let murders make a statement.....why not a prostitute?

What are you hoping to get out of all this?

What I want out of this at this point is very different now than last year. At this point I want vindication. I simply want the APD to apologize to me and release another press release stating that they were wrong and retract the original police report. I would love to have a public apology from the Palins and their lawyer. But the reality is I am sure that won't happen.

Secondly, I want others that were in the same position as me to feel like they an come out with their story and not have the public scorn them. however since the police never believed me or looked into what I said and then the media followed suit i highly doubt anyone would feel safe to come out with their story. But I believe if I come out with my story it could help other men and women

At this point I am just looking to tell my side and be vindicated by the world knowing that the police did lie and still will not release all my property.

I said I could believe the story because the two were/are engaged and aslo noted MTO changing there story on him. This is going to be very brief: The headline on MTO is "Kris Humphries SUES Kim Kardashian . . For Being A FRAUD!!!" but if one goes to the TMZ article it states that Kris is filing for a annulment,if successful means that the marriage never happened in the first place-Kris could be planning on suing but the article makes no mention of it. I will say that Kris Humphires married Kim because he loved her and Kim just did it for the ratings.

Is Drake leaving Young Money/Cash Money?

Yesterday, Drake dropped ALL of his managers (Gee Roberson, Al Branch, Kyambo Joshua and Bryant Cortez), whom he shares with Lil Wayne and other members of YMCMB.

And the last shoe was that Drake DROPPED his agents, ICM Talent - who also reps Lil Wayne.

Next step . . . Drake is putting together a legal team to try and get him out of the AIR TIGHT contract he has with Weezy and them.

Bossip.com is also reporting the story but makes no mention of Drake leaving Young Money and Cash Money, maybe MTO saw the "writing on the wall" with the reports and just assumed that Drake is going to leave.

Who knows Drake could be saying one thing and doing another behind the scenes. I haven't seen any thing from GC or Rumor Fix on this but I will periodically check them today.

I'm hesitant to say that MTO is straight up lying about it but time will tell. There has to be something to Drake making these moves. His actions are speaking more for them than his tweets.

The founder of MediaTakeOut.com, Fred Mwangaguhunga who created the site in 2006 gave a interview to complex Magazine, here are some interesting nuggets from the interview:

So how did MTO change into an urban site?
I was able to see what was going on in the back end and then based on what people were clicking on, I would give them more of that. Why it was the black stories that were getting clicked the most? I don’t know. Maybe it was because they under represented in the blogosphere at the time. Maybe it was cause I emailed all my friends who happened to be black and that’s what they were interested in so that’s why they were clicking. However it happened the urban stories were getting by far the most views.

Why the name MediaTakeOut?
It goes back to the initial idea. It was never intended to be an urban blog, the idea was a takeout menu, so you saw a little bit of urban, a little bit of sports, and you would click on it like you’re picking in a takeout menu. The initial logo was a takeout box.

Can you talk about the layout of the site? It’s a very simple design that gives readers basically everything in one go.
Initially the design was heavily influenced by The Drudge Report. The site was incredibly popular and put as much info in front of your eyes as possible. You have to understand the psychology of your audience. Your audience is at work, looking at 50 different websites, ESPN on one tab YouTube on another tab. Maybe they have 10 minutes to look, or their boss is going to be there soon so they gotta click off and what they really want to do is get as much as they possibly can on one page. This was even bigger when we first started because a lot of times people had slow Internet connections, people still had dial-up we started. The idea was always to give people as much content as we can in that small surface area. If there is a major difference between us and most of the other websites it’s that our number one focus is giving our readers exactly what they want. That’s what MediaTakeOut is about. That’s why it was structured that way. You ask why is something is the top story, It’s because that’s what they want,

How big is your staff?

Four people. When I see people with 10 or 20 bloggers, I’m thinking, What the hell are those guys doing? Everyone does everything including me. I’m out there doing research, making phone calls, talking to people coming up with deadlines, looking at photos every morning.

Take me through a day at MediaTakeOut.
The entire process begins on Monday at about 2 AM. That’s with me getting up and taking a look at all of this stuff that came via email or from whenever I went to bed. you’d be surprised how much information actually comes at night. It takes about a half hour or so to get through all of that. Then you go to the photo agencies. We have agreements with just about every photo agency out there and they all begin to send new photos between the night before or late in the day. The one thing that’s difficult is lets say you got a photo of Ciara, Jennifer Hudson, and Ashanti. No Beyonce, no Rihanna. That’s when the team comes in around 4 AM and usually I have an idea of how many photos I can use and how many stories we’ll need to fill. That’s when we are really are lucky to have this team because they go out and they find stuff on Twitter or something someone emailed us two weeks ago that we didn’t use because we already had someone looking crazy for the day.
You have to figure out stuff that’s gonna work and on a day-to-day basis and people would be surprised how incredibly difficult it is to do but I have really, really great people and they can do it. So betweem 4 and 4:45 we try to find what we’re gonna do. We haven’t talked about layout yet or the jokes we’re gonna use, the headlines, so we do that and we separate it, divvy up all the assignments. Usually, the top two stories are done already the day before so we don’t have to worry about those. My time is then spent looking at headlines making sure everything’s working and then there is a good amount of convo happening among people. Sometimes you get a last minute confirmation about something. It’s really a busy time for everyone to get everything together but like magic lo and behold by about 8:30 AM the entire site comes together and then it’s a matter of making sure we like everything have everything in the right areas.

So you update once a day?
Yes. Well technically, there are some breaking stories that will come in, but for the most part it’s all up there.

What percentage of the stories on your site do you actually vet through actual reporting, fact-checking, being on the phone, etc.
I would say that, because neither I nor any of my staff have ever been professional reporters, I'm not sure what that means. But I can tell you that we look into everything before we publish it. And 99 percent of the time that you read something on MTO, we actually held back a little bit of the story. At the end of the day, we aren't looking to ruin people. Our audience doesn't want that. Our audience doesn't want to be going to a place that is trying to bring down black people. All we are going to do is tell you our business, and keep it moving. If you deny it? We aren't going to fight you on it. If you tell us, Oh, that wasn't you in the club, with that girl, we're not going to deny it, we aren't going to fight you on it. Keep it moving, you save face, do whatever you need to do, and that's that.

So what about the posts that deal with speculation? The ones that concern a celebrities dating life, for example. Are these just placed for filler?
No, I mean usually there is something to it. A lot of times it's not just that two people are in a photograph. Sometimes the paparazzi are saying these guys were together and we snapped a picture of them. The photo might not be able to tell you that, but the person who took the photo is saying it. And that's something that the reader might not get themselves. A big reason is that we've been trained to say, if they are in a photo, then it ain't happen. I see them together, but I don't see them fucking on a couch. But if a man and women are together and the person that took the photo is saying, “Yo, look! These two are together! But this is all I have, I don't have them kissing, I don't have them making out.” And we put that photo up and say, “Look! People say these two are together, that's all we can say. We can't say, Oh they are together or they're not, we can say this is what the word is and this is what the photo is. The other side of it is to understand sort of what MTO is. When you look at MTO and you read it, we are very much the US Weekly for black people. And if you pick up US Weekly and you open it up, you will see the same thing, right? You will see Sean Penn is sitting next to Scarlett Johanssen. Are they together? Well nobody knows but you can see them walking in together. So we are just doing what the readers are interested in and what this genre is interested in.
MTO is known for is being the first with a lot of leaked celebrity pictures. You guys were one of the first with the Rihanna leaks that came out. What’s the process that goes into getting these images?
It really is all over the place, how we get photos. Some of them, someone just says, “Hey, I took this with my cell phone camera, here it is.” Other times someone will say hey, I've been holding this for a while, I want to give it to you. Sometimes you can say, I took this and I want to put it out there. We tend to stay away from buying pictures. And the reason why is because once you create a financial incentive, the lies are a lot more difficult to catch. People, if they know they can make $10,000 by lying to MTO, they will come up with a really good lie and it will be really, really hard for us to tell. So as a general practice we try to stay away from that. A lot of times the snitches will be celebrities. When you talk about somebody who did something in the VIP, who’s in the VIP? So they will tell us what’s going on, and they will be like “If I tell you this, I’m coming out with my album and I’m doing this” the answer is “OK.” We will hook this up. So there are all kinds of other barters and arrangements that we can come up with to get something, to get information, photos.

Is there every a time you won’t post pictures someone sends you?

Yeah. I mean, usually the biggest line is you have to have some sort of legal basis for actually having the photograph. You can’t be like “Listen, I found Jay-Z’s laptop, I broke into his crib and I’ve got naked pictures of Beyonce.” I can’t do anything with this. You can’t take some stolen shit and run with it. Maybe it will get up on the Internet somewhere. You’d be surprised how much stolen shit—naked pictures there are that just never make it to the Internet. It always happens. I’ve seen some really crazy...

Of big celebrities?

Yeah! Like pictures of Usher and Tameka Foster. I’ve seen them. They were real, him banging someone’s wife. And it’s not on the Internet, and it’s not going to be on the internet. You know why? Because the person, who has those photographs, really thinks that they have a million dollar photograph. The problem is, anyone with a million dollars is not going to buy that photograph because they know they are not buying anything because they can’t post it. The only person that will buy it is the person with $100 who will throw it up on their blog. So the dude is thinking, I’m not selling this thing for $100, so it just keeps getting deeper forever. And this happens for all kinds of photographs that are out there. And the person that has them is thinking, “I’ve got this million dollar photograph, why isn’t anyone paying me a million dollars.” Because TMZ looks at it and says, that’s a stolen photograph, I can’t pay you for that. I can’t pay 25 cents for that. I’ll look at it and say “that’s a stolen photograph, I can’t pay 25 cents for that.” So the market value is at nothing.

One thing I find interesting is the censorship that happens on MTO. When the Amber Rose photos leaked, a lot of people were saying Wow I can’t believe these leaked. The second conversation was: why is MTO blurring the photos?

That’s the number one question I get: Why are you blurring the images? [laughs]. If we get some good naked celebrity pictures, we’re putting it out. If we have license and have good belief behind it, we’re putting it out. But if you start getting three naked pictures in a week and you put them up, people start saying, “What type of site is this? You guys are turning into porn.” But it’s not like we’re doing this on purpose. When you get something like that you have to go. There have been plenty of times when we held a story and lost it. So you can’t hold a story for very long. There was a time when we got three of them in one week. People were writing letters to us like, “Yo, I’m at work, I can’t keep looking at titties and all that.” So we decided to ramp it down and blurr some of this stuff out, and you get the gist of this. And a lot of people, especially the women, aren’t interested in seeing all the nooks and crannies of what’s going on. They just want to see what she’s wearing, if her room’s clean, if she’s wearing draws. But guys want to see everything. So a lot of the dudes will say, just open it up, we want to see what you got. So a lot of the most recent ones we blurred them.

Shailey Tripp responds to my post on her

Last Night I posted about Shailey Tripp and her troubles with the Anchorage Police Department because of the Palins and she has responded to this post and I will present her full comment here also:

I am glad to see other people are picking up the story. I would just like people to know a few things. First I did try to come out with my story through the national Enquirer but not because I wanted publicity but because the media was already seeking me out. I just wanted a chance to tell my side BEFORE the media beat me to it. However the Enquirer decided to not run more with the story perhaps at some pint they will. In the meantime the APD have outrigth admitted that they made that press release at the request of Palins lawyers. Also they have admitted to me in a letter that there are mistakes and misrepresentations but they do not feel they owe me a retraction or an apology. Since then I have asked for Internal Affairs to investigate, and started an online petition. As far as I know the Palins have never denied my affair with Todd or him paying me for sex and pimping me out. They have never denied any of the emails I released or sold that were exchanges between Todd and myself. The reason I am pushing this issue so much is one my family and I have suffered a lot with the explosion of this story through the Enquirer. The APD deliberately hurt my reputation. this damage has made it extremely hard for me to even be employed or taken seriously by anybody. Claim: The Anchorage Police Department lied to protect the Palins

I received a very, very Interesting e-mail today that alleges that the Anchorage Police Department is covering up a Todd Palin affair in order to protect his family. If true this gives the APD a bad name.

A woman named Shailey Tripp has alleged that she had a affair with Todd Palin, a story that the National Enquirer broke back in January of this year. She conducted 4 interviews in which she talked about this affair.

But she is having trouble with the Anchorage Police Department. She was arrested back in March of 2010 and had her property taken by the APD. In June of this year the charges were dropped. The APD issued a press release stating that Shailey Tripp and Todd Palin had zero connections with each other but the PD messed up conceding privately to blogger/Lawyer Malia Litman that they lied and the Press Release was a fraud, not true.

She lost her credibility with the false Press Release and not all of her property has been returned to her. Some of the property includes Todd Palins name and contact information on it. Ms Tripp states that she "had direct correspondence with the APD in which they do not feel they need to give me my things back, and do not feel they need to issue a retraction".

The e-mail was addressed to Rumorfix.com and was sent to me also. In the e-mail she tells Rumorfix.com that she is willing to be interviewed and take a polygraph test to clear her name and reputation.

She has a online petition up to draw attention to the cover up by the APD to protect the Palins. She also talks about this on her blog.

~~Todd Palin of course has denied the allegations~~ CORRECTION: The Palins have not denied the allegations, the link says the police denied the affair rumors for them. (note: all men deny affairs-just watch talk shows or look at Bill Clinton, John Edwards).

We'll see how this turns out but Shailey is determined to make all this public.

Conrad Murray will serve 2 years instead of 4 years in prison

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson’s 2009 death, was sentenced Tuesday to four years behind bars. He will also lose his medical license.
Judge Michael Pastor imposed the maximum sentence for Murray, but Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore says his sentence is automatically reduced to two years under Assembly Bill 109. Murray, however, will be required to serve all of his halved sentence, minus 47 days he has already served.

Urban Meyer hired to be coach of Ohio State

So after denying reports last week that there was a deal for Urban to coach Ohio State comes the official news that Urban Meyer will be the coach of Ohio State. Urban was a ESPN analyst for the past year.

Meyer asked to be removed from this past weekend assignments. One could argue that he did not make a final decision after he spoke to his family about it over Thanksgiving weekend.

Former Florida coach Urban Meyer has taken the head coaching job at Ohio State, sources confirmed to ESPN on Monday morning.

Meyer, who led the Gators to two national championships before stepping down to spend more time with his family amid ongoing reports of health concerns, had worked as a game analyst this season for ESPN.

But he asked to be taken off his assignments for the network this weekend as reports swirled of his imminent hire with the Buckeyes.

Meyer has a 10-year record of 104-23. He has also coached Utah and Bowling Green. Sources told WKMG-TV in Orlando last week that Meyer would be introduced in coming days after agreeing to a seven-year, $40 million deal.

The Buckeyes capped their season Saturday with their first loss to Michigan in seven years, a 40-34 defeat that left them at 6-6, 3-5 in the Big Ten.
It marked the most points Michigan had scored against Ohio State since putting up 58 in 1946 and the first time since 1999 that the Buckeyes finished under .500 in conference play.

Syracuse fires Coach over abuse allegations

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse University fired associate head basketball coach Bernie Fine on Sunday in the wake of an investigation of child molestation allegations against him.

"At the direction of Chancellor Cantor, Bernie Fine's employment with Syracuse University has been terminated, effective immediately," Kevin Quinn, the school's senior vice president for public affairs, said in a statement.

The 65-year-old Fine was in his 36th season at his alma mater. He had the longest active streak of consecutive seasons at one school among assistant coaches in Division I.
Fine's firing comes in the wake of new revelations Sunday, including a third accuser. Syracuse had placed Fine on paid administrative leave when accusations first surfaced.
